I find Solace in the Memories Of Being At Sea, with the Vaulted Dome Of Stars on A moonless Sea, or in the Swirling Fairy Glow in the Eddy Currents From the Propellers Endlessly Driven By Two Reactors... As much as I love Crowded House, Neil Finn's solo stuff and his songwriting, there's something more compelling and special about Eddie Rayner's creative instincts and keyboard wizardry, along with Tim in his comfort zone. Spectacular.
I was at this concert at rod Laver arena, up in the nosebleeds on the left of stage. This and Message to my girl were magical that night. I remember as Eddie Rayner played the keyboard solo at the start the backlighting actually projected his shadows over the crowd at the back of the stadium... such amazingly gifted musicians and songwriters. A magical concert that I was privileged to be able to see. Great memories
Split Enz were part of me growing up in liverpool seen these lads in 70s , then crowded house great times ,they were brilliant at Glastonbury 2022 music keeps you going 🎙
I saw Tim a few times in the 90s and every time his voice sounded thrashed; a shadow of its 80s glory. Sounds like, by the time of this concert, he'd really worked hard and got it back in soaring form!
Didnt know they had re-formed back then .This has to be one of my all time favourite songs . The Finns are masterful composers and possibly NZs best export

You cannot listen to "Six Months In A Leaky Boat" without "Pioneer" preceding it. It is like "We Are The Champions" without "We Will Rock You". You just can't listen to one without the other.
I love when Tim and Neil perform together. Their harmonies are the best.
