Hey Ivanna. Hope you are doing well. This video certainly helped me to apply for a skilled worker visa at UDI portal. I have been offered a Postdoc position at Rikshospitalet Oslo. I have submitted my application at VFS global on march 3, 2022. My employer at Rikshospitalet has no provision to provide accommodation Postdoc researchers and need to manage on my own. So in this case I have given a self-declaration on a sheet of paper about my plan of arranging my Norwegian stay. I have mentioned that once I get my VISA and plan my travel, I will book temporary accommodation through AIRBNB for 1-2 months and then make arrangements for a long-term stay. This should not be a concern right? Please suggest. And what do you think how long might be waiting time now due to the current crisis. My official joining date of the contract is April 1,2022. The best is to check with UDI because through the last year many things are constantly changing.
