Thanks for the information. Now I realize moving to Norway is not going to happen. Im a nurse in the US and was thinking of moving to northern Norway. Sweden seems like the better option.

As an American, there are plenty of reasons to not be here. We have a lot of privilege and convenience in our daily lives which I don't take for granted. However the corrupt political system, gun issues and continued loss of liberties and money with no reward wear thin. No country is perfect. Some of us here just want to get out and be around people who actually love their country; a pride that despite the amazing things we have here in America, people no longer have. Edit: Also the free education, 5 weeks of paid holiday (which is CRAZY that this is a thing, America could NEVER) and how happy and clean most of Europe is.
American workers live in a rat race. European life is slower paced, and much simpler, in my experience. People mostly only work to live, rather than live to work and over-consume as Americans do!
Or you can do an arranged marriage with a person from the European Union! And after 5 years you can apply for citizenship! and he could have dual US and EU citizenship. Without the need to be married!!
