    Great video Guys...having made a few YT videos myself, I think its only the creators who really know how tough it is to get that combination of video/appropriate music/continuity/telling a story that engages the audience etc (and cope with all the editing !!!.) ..and you're getting that balance spot on...

    • @CadohaAdventures
      @CadohaAdventures  3 года назад +1

      Ha ha, it’s funny you say that because every video I make I like to think is a bit better in terms of quality and music than the one I made before it, and just as I’m hitting the upload button, I really like what I’ve made.
      Then, about 24 hours after its uploaded, I pick holes in it and hate it and aim to not repeat the mistakes I’ve found for the next video. 🤣

      @nigelmorley8092 3 года назад

      Haha..been there !!...my biggest nightmare was finding the right music..eventually I quite regularly chose the music then adjusted my filming to suit that ..it saved hours !! Stay safe and don't have any worries about content now you're at the end of your sailing season as it's the BTS stuff and real life issues that makes your channel so enjoyable. Though maybe limit "barnacle scrubbing in December" to no more than 3 episodes !

    We had the good fortune to tour a Rustler at Southampton Boat Show this year. They are so well designed, and customisable in any way you can imagine. Of course, that comes with the appropriate price tag... so we'll be looking for an older, less luxurious (though still British) bluewater classic when we scale up from our little Hustler. By the way, fantastic to see you sailing wing on wind at the end without a pole for the headsail. It takes some impressive helming skills to keep that going :)

    Fussy British supermarket veg' eater here: I'd rate Aldi quite lowly, along with Asda, Lidl, Morrisons, Tesco. I think 'they last longer' (7:45) because they are less ripe & ready. Sainsbury's get most of it right most of the time, especially their Taste The Difference range, M&S are OK, Waitrose are often good, sometimes awful, always too expensive so I won't go there.
    Let the supermarket wars begin! (only in the comments)
    Grow your own is by far the best, beyond doubt
    PS One thumbs up is insufficient for "sometimes it rains" intro! That was great, made me laugh

      No one seems to know exactly, all the technician said they did was take the ports off to inspect them and then put them back on again and they seemed to just work? They then ran a bunch of diagnostics on the laptop and said everything seemed fine, although when the battery goes totally flat, it seems to literally take hours again to power back up, which seems odd, but she said the diagnosis came back as the battery was healthy, so it’s a bit of a mystery right now.
      We did wonder if it possibly had something to do with plugging the laptop directly into a 12v socket that had made the ports go bad? But now it’s all working again, it’s hard to say for sure?

    I was throwing Elayna and Riley a couple of £ per month I think it was, and I wanted to shift this over to you (as they don't seem to need it as much), but Patreon was really restrictive about what I was able to give, it had to be one of their set packages. I do not know if this is a new thing they do or whether there is a setting you can check to allow more custom donations. Either way it priced me out at the moment, but keep up the good work, I enjoy it.

      Hey stu, glad to hear you enjoyed the videos either way. Not sure about the options on Patreon, I know we do have a few people who seem to have created their own custom amounts that they support us with, although I’m not exactly sure how they did it though 😬

      I’m sure they do, although that was all said a bit tongue in cheek, there’s no way in the world we could afford a boat like that, unless of course our lotto numbers come in 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
      Yes we’ve just bought a new mic as all we used to use was the one in the computer which always sounded tinny

    HOW MUCH 😳 ! I'm in shock. £21 per month £252 per year for a patreon subscription. Seems expensive when you consider the yearly cost of Netflix or a TV licence. No wonder every man and his dog are trying to set up their own channels lol.

      These are all optional, of course you can watch without paying anything, if you choose.
      My reasoning for supporting several creators is because if they stopped making videos (because RUclips income is so low that’s it’s fairly hard to make a living with revenue share) then I’d be missing out on their content which I enjoy so much.

      Probably a few reasons, we haven’t had a computer for nearly three weeks as ours just stopped working. Another reason is it takes about 50 hours to make a video. Another reason I guess is when the weather is good we go out and film and make the most of the sun, we tend to edit when the weather is bad, which seems to make the most sense when it comes to getting as much good footage as you can in England, where sunny days are blessings to make the most of 😁⛵️
