Scilly is heaven on earth. There’s nowhere better in good weather. Our favourite anchorages are The Cove between Gugh and St Agnes and St Helens Pool. Great video, brings back so many good memories of when we had our 2 dogs on board with us. Actually won a prize with a pic of them both on the bow of our dinghy going ashore in the Cove. Happy days.

At 5:01 its Crocosmia, it grows anywhere on mainland UK, got some in my garden in Yorkshire :)
At Spring tides low water you can walk between Bryher & Tresco, me & my Bro did it :)

We have done the Scillies 3 times in two boats from Portsmouth. Spot on video! It is really the Bermuda in the UK. The Gulf stream or NADC brings warm water up from the gulf of Mexico making it a frost free paradice in the Atlantic. Packed with history, The Scilly isles great maritime disaster was the catalyst and inspiration for Harrison's marine chronometers and the search for Longitude. Accurate timekeeping eventually became the basis of modern GPS! Wonderful flora and fauna, coral beaches, sandy shores. Lovely people. It's one for the bucket list for any sailor!!! Sail Safe Guys, Ant, Cid & the pooch crew.

For all the flak that American beer gets, it's surprising to see one of the... least interesting beers in the US, Budweiser, for sale overseas. I would have to assume that English Budweiser has to be better than normal Budweiser. It's one of the major reasons why beer is referred to as "piss water".
