#BrokeBoy #YuGiOh #EP6 - Игры
Boy, am I glad that their experiences with Firewall Dragon being such a dominant card led Konami to realize that they absolutely needed to give hard OPTs to the effect of cards that can summon monsters to the board too easily.
Now, to take a large sip of water and read the text on Morphtronic Telefon.
Well telefon kinda dies to every good handtrap
I mean to be fair, it is a Morphtronic too
*insert clip of Jesse ftking a 10 year old*
This is arguably the best episode so far, it demonstrates yugioh at its finest, showcasing taking a stupid card and pairing it with unusual cards that somehow make it function, and an FTK that demonstrates how non-HOPT effects can break this game.
Also Danny cheating was peak comedy.
5D's as a whole proved Konami why non-HOPT effects should never exist
@@thezestylime0989 tbf in the case of spell cards, most of the time you're relying on either hard drawing them, or searching them out with something like pot of duality. It's cards that allow you to normal or special summon that are really the problem though, from my admittedly very limited experience in the game.
The year is 20XX. Everyone plays FTK at peak levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on who goes first. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.
A player from 20XX here. Because of this almost everyone has Mystic Mine in the side deck.
@@Romeo_of_Romelution *Mystic Mine the handtrap
@@Greg501- lmao
So it's 2022?
@@Greg501- Actually the errata'd version is a Sidetrap, which can be activated from the side deck by offering your soul to Konami.
For season 2, can we do broke boy progression where each week you get a different budget to cumulatively build your deck (no saving allowed)
@@berts1033 He literally put "no saving" in brackets at the end lmao
Literally gonna be constructed after 2 weeks with the only progress being 1 handtrap being added every week.
Non-limited progression series just don't work.
@@luminous3558 We just make the increments 50 cents
@@luminous3558
You could have quests to summon a specific boss monster to unlock budget.
Like Bingo. The first to complete all quests wins the series.
It could be hilarious and some quests would be so difficult, that it required some saved budget to complete.
Maybe they only keep cards of a certain price, like under 10 cents
now I really wanna see them play with obviously fake cards
It would be awesome seeing a game where they try to resolve effects of cards that make no fucking sense.
Like the Magic Cylinder that says "can make come from 1 monster"
Broke boy Yu-Gi-Oh finds out what a printer is
Darkly Big Rabbi ftk incoming
I want to see them play with AI generated cards. There's a bot on twitter that makes them.
@@In.New.York.I.Milly.Rock. i'm sorry the magic cylinder that says WHAT
Game 1 MBT: "Oh cool, I drew Machine Dupe."
Game 2 MBT: "Oh wow, I drew Machine Dupe again. Surely I won't draw another one next game."
Game 3 MBT: "Okay, so I didn't draw another Machine Dupe, I drew TWO!"
"If I had a Machine Dupe in game 3 for every Machine Dupe I opened in games 1 and 2, I'd have 2 Machine Dupes!"
I like how they are meta gaming woth "is that 18 cent change of heart still there". They are remember the price of damaged staples and going back to them 🤣
The funniest thing about budget formats is that, because of the lack of modern generic interaction, the format is actually POWERED UP
"Good deck, but it can't play through Ash" doesn't matter when there's NO ASH
E-Telly for Jiji is quite the power move ngl
New etele for wyrm monster incoming.
In his defense, all virtual world cards look the same.
@@Ragnarok540 Its 2022, can we stop being virtualist in the youtube comment section smh
@@princiedv Virtual Worlds don't deserve rights tbh
My first thought when seeing the damaged Mystic Mine was someone's opponent got real mad and decided to bend their card in half. LOL
wow the incredible play of e-tele for Jiji, my favorite psychic effect monster
Lmao i know it didn’t change the outcome but it bothered me a little.
It doesn’t have to be an effect monster
That third duel is exactly how yugiboomers see current yugioh 😂😂😂
This series is convincing me that the only thing stopping me from playing Yugioh is my social anxiety.
ill play you bro
For me is that and shipping
I feel you man
yeah tbh this series is a bit deceptive cause shipping is a major cost for cheap decks
@@orchidquack You can normally build a cheap deck for $20ish dollars with shipping. Of course they are bad builds but they function well for the price point.
And if you already have staples (cheap or not) then the cost can go down to like $10 with shipping if you buy from any of the shops that sell a gagillion bulk commons.
this episode kinda serves as the perfect response when people say handtraps are bad for the game
scythe lock "fun" vs FTK "fun"
damn Yu-Gi-Oh is a interactive skill based game...
This just proves why interactive cards like hand traps are important
@@geiseric222 theres also just the idea of not producing cards that create massive issues in the game as a whole, and a ban list.
Hand traps are cool and all, but they also support a winning player even more if they have them. It's just an illusion of choice.
Either get fucked up and not have a chance, or think you have a chance just to get your hopes crushed, then get fucked up anyways.
People who think this game is interactive have literally never played another card game lmao
@@quickestturtlez5362 this game is interactive. Objectively. You may not like how that interaction takes it’s form, but people who say there isn’t interaction do not know what that word means.
MAgic as an example isn’t very interactive as a card game, but that’s not exactly what it’s supposed to be either
@@geiseric222 putting up a board of floodgates and or negates is not interaction. The only time this game is interactive, is if the interruptions on your end board are non negates, or if you have turn 0 interaction with hand traps. That is objectively the only interaction in this game. I've played over 20 card games and this is easily bottom 3 in terms of interaction. I'd say Digimon and sometimes magic are the only worse ones.
I love how that Upstart was a Magic Card
But they used to be Magic Cards? Like in Magic Ruler.
@@cba_2442 obviously? I'm just saying it's that old
This is honestly one of the best new series you guys have come up with.
Wow poor Danny and Joseph got pranked by the Tindangler at the end! Another series ruined by the enigmatic Tindangler and their ability to move things between the zones.
"some of the most fun you can have with cardboard"
Yeah it's #2 right behind making a fort out of boxes
Just seeing the thumbnail I already know there’s war crimes in this video
Firewall is at it again
What have we learned with this series so far:
Danny can blindly cheat and he's still the most lovable person in the series
Decks aren't expensive, hand traps and staples are
You can ftk with $10
Holy fucking shit is a format with no handtraps degenerate af
_Gal. __4:16_
I like that the last round just devolved into both of them just pressing buttons because it was already over after the die roll
All I can see is the looming Accesscode fan art below this video and I’m scared
MBT Yu-Gi-Oh is officially the greatest Morphtronic Pilot Out there how did you get so good at this Deck?
@@johnnickfanaccount3492 elaborate
@@stevenashley27 I think he used the Telefon which already has used its effects, but who cares? xD

Emergency Teleport summoning Jiji? Ah yes, my favorite psychic type
I remember seeing Danny pick his deck after having watch MBT make his and thinking "yeah doesn't really matter what you pick, MBT real opponent will be his own luck ^^".
Fun drinking game: Take a shot everytime MBT says Telephon for Telephon. Probably won't survive the first game
I'd love to see this series spiced up with legacy formats. Imagine making 5$ Edison decks, it would be hilarious. Obviously doesn't have to be a mainstay, just a fun idea for an episode or two if the format gets stale or something!
Time to add 3 Hanewate's and 3 Leonidas in every side deck from this day till the end of time
lol fake mbt
my favorite thing about telephon ftk is that the third anti ftk handtrap, ghost sister and spooky dogwood, doesn't even stop it from ftking you. how many other cannon soldier ftks can say that?
This series is great, but I think overall it would've been better if instead of the wheel you guys just started at the highest price and week after week took away money until the finale was the $0.50 duel.
It didn't really end up mattering I think but like, E-tele for a wyrm... Very funny.
The end of this video makes me wonder, what would happen in a format of Yu-Gi-Oh when both players took their turn at the same time
Why does the bot sounds American
@@nguyentandung42 probably made in America
Floowandereeze mirror will tell you that it is horrible.
Love this series, such a good idea for content and always so entertaining to see how these boys come up with the guu for the low
I just saw that Dragonlark play with Beatrice in MD yesterday and pogged. Love this interaction.
Just listening to Danny go “lulu lili chichi jaja poopoo peepee” over and over and over
thank you for this episode! really funny :3 made my day❤️
Problem with budget YGO is that a lot of cool and good archetypes aren't even that expensive, but a lot of the staples are.
and without all those staple handtraps or going 2nd cards you just lose to the die roll just flat out instead of just kinda maybe most times losing to it
"It's not going in" is the whole point of a handy.
Next season you should add shipping and make it way harder tbh/ it would make it interesting to get multiple cards from the same seller to cut the shipping prices down
this wouldn't work, unless the amount of money you have is significantly higher
I mean, you can build a relatively competent deck for $50 with shipping included - I just put together a melffy deck for fun and most the cards were below $.50
Voting for that. It would make it funny and prevent them from building a meta deck for 15$. This isn't the true broke experience otherwise.
yeah the problem with them doing it the way they are currently doing is that many sellers on tcgplayer put most of the price of the cards into shipping. A card might normally be $1.05 but on tcgplayer they sell it for 5 cents with $1 shipping.
@@dotvee well yeah the 50 cent deck would not work but 5 dollars and plus are possible, horrible and definitely unplayable in any tourny ever but still doable(and it would be super fun to watch)
Good example of a match on why Handtraps are a necessary evil in the game and why floating Floodgate effects like Scythe can go rot in banlist hell
you mean lingering floodgates right
Welp, Scythe Turbo vs Telefon ftk, this series is officially broken
Tbh probably my favorite episode yet.
Season 2 should include the shipping to be "more realistic" 😂
100%. These decks can be technically be bought with cards that fit under $5 but because its 55 different sellers it ends up $86 and absolutely not budget. It’s better this way for the series imo but to really prove the theory they need to include shipping
@@iamalsopropaganda in that case, the $.50, $1, $2, and anything less than $5 become literally impossible, unless they literally walk to the store and beg for cards. With $5 to $10, they still need to go to a store to get the cards, but they can at least buy bulk cards in that case. If they included shipping, $15 is the minimum needed for them to even consider including shipping.
@@greenninjaX2 including shipping would limit them to prebuilt decks on ebay pretty much.
@@greenninjaX2 I imagine they would also be bumping up the budget to allow for some shipping costs if it had to include them
The issue is they often find "good deal" for cards that .. are not good deal but one seller selling this one card "cheaper" to be on top with inflated shipping to make up for it.
I think a more realistic approach would be to use the average value, and not be allowed to buy that one guy selling it a 1$ with 30$ shipping.
Bro Just summoning jiji (wyrm) with e-tele lmao
Pretty cool concept! You guys should do a series finale where you take the winning deck of every price range and put them up against meta decks.
truly peak YGO featured in this episode, love this series
So Flunder?
The last minute or so of game 3 was pretty hilarious.
Fun fact, this is the first episode of Broke Boys to go to a Game 3
The bent mystic mine is my sprint animal
I love this series! Maybe you could choose old formats to build on a budget
I have been waiting, and wondering when Telefon FTK would make an appearance. I am not disappointed one bit.
I loved how Danny is like screw it and play in MBTs turn when he can't in the 3rd game
sick combo line in game 3 at the end holy cow~!!
Machine Duplication is one of the best cards out there, it is always there when you need it
3:40 Danny busting out with the death grips lyrics was unexpected lol.
The psychological breakdown at the end was so good
i fucking love this episode
YEAH! ONE COPY OF CHAMBER! I CAN FINALLY RUN DRAGONLINK ON THIS BUDGET!
3:43 noided
I legit love this series haha
Ah yes e tele for jiji, my favorite legal vw play
Every time I have a cool idea for a series, 2 weeks later MBT is starring in the exact series I'm thinking of, you're just a couple of steps ahead of me I guess. Ive been loving this series so far
This was a great episode. The morphtronic deck is so degenerate and funny.
best episode yet tbh
Ah yugioh. The die roll w extra steps.
Wow, I never knew Jiji was a Psychic.
This was the funniest episode of any current Yu-Gi-Oh series.
Telefon FTK BEST DECK BABY LET'S GO!!!
Danny and MBT are a match made in heaven
Me thinking he could play d.d crow and then I look it up and its $10
For progression series, maybe each set you can keep only 1 card but you are locked into that card.
You may also trade cards with the opponent beforehand.
Adore this series, but please chill with the editing and constant cuts. It's murder on my hungover brain
Holy shit I never noticed Jeff at the 10 second mark until now
He emergency teleported a wyrm?
The arrival of the ftk is here
Love the crab hat xD
It's crazy how close game 3 was
Game 3 proving that a format where players take their turns at the same time might be quite exciting and also a nightmare.
i know this means its harder but yu should consider playing under the "if its unplayabley damaged then you cant use it"
Yeah, but it would make deck building a lot more interesting!
@@lukadark9761 i mean it Technicly is a konami rule for tcg plays but this is one of those weird things where like i dont know how its gona work for 0.50p decks to be fair
I like the idea of them seeking cards that have been run over. This series has more of a "chilling with friends in a dorm" vibe than a "officially sanctioned locals" vibe.
@@haruhirogrimgar6047 also they tried to emulate playground yugioh, ofc no one care about damaged card

I'm about to bring this ftk to locals and play yall with it 🤣
I love how this video just devolved into absolute tomfoolery
22:41 must be what Yugioh looks like to non-players. I thought I was having a stroke.
I'm kind of a sicko so i really want to see a version of this where its all less than a dollar and archtypes can only be used once as a focus.
Substitoad would be proud of his descendant Telefon!
I LOVE TELEPHON! LETSGO!!!!!!!
This episode shows why the next master rule change should as a blanket rule make every card and every effect a hard once per turn
I wish there was one more tier at $100, that feels like it could be reasonable to save for 4 or 5 pay checks for. You could have a few real staples and staple archetypes
This is the absolute proof that money is the root of all evil
why so good
That final game XD
Game 1 ftk. Game 2 scythe lock. Game 3 ftk. God tier yugioh
Man that third game was a nail bitter!
NOT SO FAST will never get old 😂😂😂 18:30
Peak comedy is 10 episodes of Danny "accidentally" cheating while accusing MBT of doing so
I like this series because it makes me feel rich playing full power Inzektor
Danny after this I’m tier two subbing
I died at the end😂
That is the first time I actually liked watching an ftk
