HUGE shouts out to King Scarlet for jumping in and helping with audio mixing. You seriously would not have gotten this if not for him.

Truly the perfect way to cap up this series:
- Mini-vlog at the start building up to the confrontation
- Actual in-person play
- MBT filmed at an angle
dat angle was *chef's kiss*
We need more of this content, I absolutely loved how funny and how amazing this whole thing was. It was like watching a good episode of the office. Joseph you really out done yourself
too many people watched it so it's going away.
@@OMGVLS what
Idk what you meant but ratio @blaze
It was perfect.
@@Luis_Garcia. fuckn gottem
I would genuinely love a yugioh sitcom like this
Or like a yugioh survivor
Sitcom? This was pretty much a documentary
Honestly felt like if The Office was about children's card games
The Locals
Opponent: *normal summons Aleister*
MBT: *stares into the camera*
Seeing these bois play in person like this was something I had been wanting to see for a long time
This was a beautiful watch
There's like a level of wholesomeness of seeing two dudes basically just hanging out
They probably acted a bit up for the camera but still a great time either way
Ofc they played à little, but at the end of the day it feels like 2 friend that are hanging around playing yugioh, and it feels great
@@julienkupet1989 o definitely yee
They bounce off each other so naturally thanks to that
I could watch stuff like this from them all the time
The fact that they're playing a fully functioning TD vs PePe on a budget really shows how much of a deck's cost is concentrated in the staples
Don't forget the shipping costs!
Always was. The core for most decks is like 10-15 bought new.
that’s why investing in staples is usually a good idea. haven’t bought a staple in ages!
@@night.breezeI play Regulus and its $30 a pop. Without it, the current build for SuperSam EARTH Machine i have is close to $60-$80
In case anyone was curious, the card MBT rips in half at 7:38 is Number C101: Silent Honor DARK
That full PePe combo is GLUED to Joseph's hand
This is super slick just from the beginning of it, awesome stuff what you guys did with OPTML and I hope we see a little bit more of that "cinematic" taste in future stuff!
This live duel setup is phenomenal. The field is clearly visible, the duel camera setup is great, the lighting on you guys looks professional. Would love to see more done in this style!
LOVED THIS SHOW. You two's chemistry is unmatched in the yugitube scene and will always love to see you guys again sometime with something new
I’m pretty sure they were like college roommates and have been best friends for years. I can’t remember for sure. They go into more detail in progression playoff episode 1
@@YoungsterJoeyVideos oh i know 90% of the story, theyre best friends and the energy they give off of just goofing off with each other thats really different from anyone on the platform that i adore
I love when Danny said "It's breakin time!" And broke all over mbt's back.
MBT you have been killing it with the content lately well done
I'd love more irl content like this, the cinematography was great and you guys have such funny chemistry together.
Maybe the Broke Boy was The friends we made along the way
Definetly
The Broke Boy! The Broke Boy Is Reeeaaalll!!!
@@sekaihunter9378 The broke boy is broken*
Is that a jojo reference?!
@@sekaihunter9378 can we get much higher
The Broke Boy series is a great concept and you guys did a great job showcasing some great decks you can play with a low budget. With that being said, this has to be by far the best episode. Absolutely loved this style of video, it shows how much worth both of you and the editors and everyone that helped you guys film in the OTS put. I know it's probably very hard to get more stuff this high quality, but I would love to see it. Amazing job from everyone involved!
Holy shit the production value, the lines, the duels, I'd actually literally pay money to watch this on a consistent basis
"Are these cards legal?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"
"Absolutely."
"Ok but, do you think Danny knows?"
Honestly I'd have been perfectly fine if Joseph brought Electrumite and Danny brought Colossus
@@ashikjaman1940 electromyte wouldn’t be in bulk. It’s expensive.
@@xatuyou8045 ok but do you think Danny knows?
Y'all seemed like you had so much fun. You regularly call Danny your best friend and it came through so much here.
The production value of this episode was amazing
When transitioning to the games, I was convinced it was gonna cut to Dueling Book and I was gonna lose my mind
same im glad i was wrong
Holy shit what a fantastic episode. The filming, editing, and you two goofballs being yourselves. I need more of this
My favourite part of broke boy is that whenever any card is played someone yells YOURE PLAYING THIS CARD doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad
Great video. It reminds me of the series Team APS has from a few years ago, where they had limited time to build decks from random bulk assortments.
This could absolutely be its own series, this style of brokeboy is so entertaining!
Idea for Season 2: Basically the same premise and setup, but you ban EVERY card played in each episode, forcing you both to dig deeper and deeper into the card pool each time
"hanging out in the Luigi's Mansion arcade machine" is so iconic and I'd love to see more videos in this framework.
You have no idea how much I want more live content like this, can't express how truly enjoyable this vid was
This has to be one of the best videos that I've seen in months! I loved the whole Broke Boy YGO series from start to finish, and this was a great finale. Love the whole part with Joseph and Danny digging through the bulk bins, love the duels, it was a lot of fun. Thank you for making this series.
this may be one of the best videos on yugitube. incredible chemistry, the sitcom mockumentary framing is hysterical. love to see you doing more experimental stuff on the channel! crazy to see this series come and go too.
Great Video. I feel like this 1 hour bulk challenge could be a series on its own.
Also some outrageous drip in this video. The cult of Lamb hoodie and Construct face mask look so sick
Shoutouts to Danny's Millenium Necklace
@@NicholasGogel I actually designed the CotL hoodie!! My shop is VogelDoesArt!
I didn't expect to see such well-made camera work in this series. The comedy edits, slow zooms, and over the shoulder shots had me laughing out loud. Whoever you got behind the cameras did a fantastic job on this one.
You really guys really captured that mockumentary style movie. Excellent job.
Woo lets go Broke Boy Yugioh: Endgame
The reality show style of 'interview' is really fun
Now its REALLY broke (back) boy yugioh
MORE OF THIS PLEASE, Holy shit, this is the best yugioh content I have EVER seen. PLEASE make this it's own series, big bulk bingus battle is incredible. you and Danny have such amazing chemistry, you're both hilarious, you're both really good players, etc. Love it, you've hit gold.
This was amazing, truly one of the best videos on the channel for me!
I loved the deckbuilding "arc" with the angles where you could see the reactions of one another in the back, the jokes were on point; just everything was perfect! I am of course a little sad that this is a one of, but sometimes that's better I guess. Loved this from start to finish, keep it up with other fire content!
This series can’t end. It was amazing
This might genuinely be the best Yugitube video ever created. The cinematography, the conceit, the deckbuilding, the chemistry... genuine joy to watch, great job to all involved!
Idk how you'd do it but another series with stuff like this is exactly the type of thing i could watch all day
you've really outdone yourself with this finale joseph, wonderful video 👏👏
you two REALLY need to do more of these, the Office styled interview sections was perfect, if the entire Playoff gang can make an episode it'd be cool as hell
The “that’s fine” after MBT’s first attack was hilarious
Honestly, I looked forward to every episode of Broke Boys, between MBT’s energy that I love and Luke’s amazing smile. I love being a new player to yugioh and figuring out new deck ideas from these videos! Amazing content, I really hope there are more like this in the pipeline.
This is one of, if not, the best live duels I've ever seen. Would love to see more content like this
5:00 "I just spent 2 and a half minutes looking through G to find the Gadgets... then I remembered they're NOT in G..."
Green Gadget: "O-oh... Ok..."
Absolutely love this video. All the energy of a reality TV show, but actually good.
What an absolute banger of a send off to an amazing series! Bravo to both Joseph and Danny
I...really love this series. Decks of yesterday and one that never got to shine because of what they competed with coming together to show what you can do with an allowance and some creativity. The restriction of live time-limit bulk digging this time was a ton of fun.
Really jope we get another season some time. (just saying, Magikey is a $9 [TCGPlayer market ]deck at dang near full power in the modern day)
I seriously loved this video; it was literally 2 friends going on a quest and having a wholesome time together
You guys were always super funny together, but when you're hanging out in person your chemistry is unmatched.
I swar Joseph's goblin energy was off the charts here. I loved it.
I love that, yes, this is the finale and they want to make it as good as possible, but they're also not above just dicking around with each other.
Can we get a season 2 where this is the format for every episode? Maybe with budgets as well. The Mini-vlog and in person play was great to watch.
More live in person content, this was phenomenal
One of the best concepts that I've seen. I remember going through bulk for my first deck what a throwback.
Man this episode was insane. Absolutely loved the editing
Holy fuck the production value in this beats Duel Night, amazing job guys
he was dead anyways, but I love the fact that MBT mentally went fuck it and made a rank 4 with a level 3 monster as well as declaring trapeze as the target with it's own effect, and Danny mentally went fuck it Gorz from deck in response.
This is it. This is peak content.
This was amazing. I couldn’t stop smiling while watching. The concept of bull hunting a deck and playing it out makes me more apt to try and go to a local.
i enjoyed this series so fucking much. hope we get a season 2.
This was SO GOOD. What a way to end off the series. Loved how everything was shot.
Ngl this was goated af. Good job guys
You have struck gold with this. Keep it up!
Those boxes you were sifting through bring back some memories...when the card shop my friends and i used to frequent went out of business on the last day the owner gave me one of them full of cards....which i was more than happy to receive.....i miss that place but ill always have those cards
Lol I loved this. Hope they do a season 2 soon. Rings of power season 1 is over. I can’t loose both in the same weekend.
I think this is the highest quality video I've ever seen I really enjoyed
Genuinely one of your best videos. looking forward to see more of this type of content even if its rare
I am 1:12 into the video and I just need to say, I NEED MORE OF THIS! Even if it's a rarity, IRL bulk building at one or possibly multiple LGS's is extremely good content. Gives the same vibes as LoadingReadyRun's budget LGS challenges for the YGO crowd
What an amazing ending to this series! Loved the irl deck builds.
bruuuhhh, doing the in person with the shit box, that's such a good idea! i used to LOVE digging through those boxes in highschool when i had zero money, the reality show camera talking was a nice touch too, i love this series
There is something so primally satisfying about the sound of cards getting SLAPPED onto the field when Joseph Pend summons. The microphone makes it sound so crisp, yet from experience it NEVER sounds that good in person.
Loved this series, always a highlight on my sunday night before work
This is incredibly based tbh, love the sitcom-ish aspect of it. Major props to you and Danny for this amazing series, can't wait to see what you do next!
Please run this series back. Can’t use the same decks from the previous series; same premise. Enjoyed it all Marincess Blue Tang 😂😂😂👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I hope we get a video of MBT actually playing Luigi's Mansion Arcade.
Not the finale I was expecting but goddamn am I happy it turned out the way it did. 11/10 gentlemen. Would watch an entire series in this style if it was possible
genuinely one of the best recent ygo vids ive seen
well done MBT, the production value on this was phenomenal.
I really appreciate how much love and passion you guys put into this episode. I'm sad this is the finale 😢
This is one of my favourite series and it got the best finale I could ask for, can’t wait to see what MBT has cooking up next
Two Words: PURE PERFECTION. My brother in Christ this was such a fun video. I would love to see you guys again on something like this, with the bulk boxes and the time limits and such. All I have to says is thanks for making this nice and good content guys.
this was amazing! more of this, please!
the editing on this video was amazing and fitting for the finale. though I'm curious on how expensive both of the decks ended up being.
Goated with the sauce series!! Will be watching all over again, loved it guys!
I know it must've been a pain to film this, but this in-person game was trully wholesome. Great episode, great series, great content!
I loved this video! It'd be great to have more content like this
Holy shit more of this please, monthly if you need it but this was amazing
11:59 To a Crobat, this is a villain card
As the author of a (read: the only) Gentrude/Ladyange fanfic, I never thought I'd live to see these monsters unironically get scaled in my entire life.
link?
I love whenever the guys at LRR go to Yellowjacket to buy bulk and play MtG
And as soon as I saw the thumbnail I knew I would love this episode too.
I know production for this type of video is much more costly, but I neeeeeeeed more of it. Honestly, this is the most fun I've had watching YGO content in a while.
Really enjoyed this, felt fresh and love seeing y'all interact in person. I would suggest a different solution for Audio. The audio felt a bit tinny and empty. Having a few shotgun mics along with the rodes to create a better mix I think would take this type of content over the top. Just need a more full sound to it. Other than that thought it was fantastic, the bits and editing were great.
what i expected was a quality episode of broke boy.
what I got was an office sequel. featuring yugioh.
Incredible video. What an amazing send off to an amazing series. I desperately hope that more like this keeps coming. Danny really does ask the important questions, after a series like this, "CAN we get much higher?" indeed.
This was a really well done finale. Loved it!
Pepe with no plushfire vs thunder dragon with no colossus
This episode right here. Do more of this. I am begging you.
live fun content pog, filming doc style draft was sick, cool edits 10/10
The humor, the delivery, the PRODUCTION VALUE. God damn boys that's a SEASON(???) finale if i've ever seen one.
