- From The Seekers farewell concert in London
July 7 1968.When breaking up that year they broke
the hearts of their fans all over the world.
But with their reunion in 1993 we took them
to our hearts again ( or,did they ever leave our hearts?)and a starved public could again buy recordings with them and see them in concert.
"Colours of my life" was composed in 1967 by Judith Durham and David Reilly

For me this is the best video of this song. Judith put her entire heart into this one. She noramally doesn'r use much hand gestures when she sings but in this one she really puts all of her emotions on display. Maybe because she knew it was going to be the last time she would sing it with the guys.
I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to listen to this music, its my childhood. Thank you for ever Seekers.

Others sit and cry and remember their loved ones and times gone by.
Another great song, it's such a pretty, simple song, and combined with Judith's impeccable voice and this great performance. Beautiful.
Prefect memories of this song 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, and its still prefect.

I agree with Flcraker1. When I look into the eyes of Judith while she sings each song in this final performance there is a depth that reveals she is sad to leave the boys but excited at the new horizons she is about to face. In fact, I can see a similar look in the eyes of Athol, Keith & Bruce as well. There is a mixture of sadness and joy - sad they are saying goodbye to Judith as a member of the group but full of joy for her bright future. I don't know how ANY of them could hide tears.
even though it's in black and white, this video let's me see many great colors (colours) as I listen to this remarkable live effort!
That has got to be the best recording of that song. They were SO good.
