Thank you for the two special videos that you took for D Day. It gives us a chance to see things we are unable to attend, well done
No problem Shipmate. I know it can be difficult for Shipmates who live in other parts of the country and world
I have never seen a drone display before, this was wonderful. Many thanks.
I think you'll see more in the future shipmate
That was absolutely awesome Captain must have taken many hours to perfect that. Thank you so much for showing this
Lots of hours with software, I would imagine
Thank you captain for taking the time to capture an amazing display, the precision is outstanding.
A former workmate was there on the beach at Normandy and told me first hand what it was like, his words will live with me for ever. E.M we will always remember, rest in peace.
I don't think we can imagine what it read like Shipmate.
That's amazing!! How on earth do they do that?! The precision it must take! Thanks for sharing this with us Captain! 👍
It's all computer controlled shipmate. Just needs to be programmed in advance. Still a lot involved with making it all work.
@@SolentShips Oh you can definitely tell it's computer operated. That many people trying to synchronise their drones wouldn't end well!! 😄 I'd imagine they must have to program the drones to allow for outside factors aswell, like the wind. It's some mad programming skills! 👌
That was absolutely stunning, what a brilliant job they did. Very moving. Thank you for capturing it.

Indeed, shipmate
Other countries use drone displays frequently...we need to get better at it.
We do indeed, shipmate
Was that Rusty barking?
Not this time shipmate, plenty of dogs at the common.
what was the song in the background?
I'm not sure, Shipmate
If you mean the song at 6:00 onwards it sounds to me like it's "The parting glass" Ed Sheeran does a great version of it 😃... hope the info helps.
Yes it was the song I thought it was... I found the clip of it for you of it being sang at the event.
