I showed a guy from work your first video on the str-9 , and we went to a gun shop with range and he rented one. And he picked one up , we put 150 rounds through it. He's been looking to get a decent optic to try for it
We all have one of those guys that just won't take a hint that we don't want to have a half hour conversation everytime we see them, no matter how nice they are, it gets old quick.
Lol- it stinks when I have to wait for them to clear the firing line before I can shoot again too. He’s a nice enough guy, but he’s retired and in no hurry. I am a way better shot too- last time I was out there and he was there, he asked me to shoot his TmRuher P89 cause he thought the sites were off, and I put 2 rounds left of the bull, then like 12 in the bull… he said “wow, I adjusted the sites cause I’m left eye dominant and you corrected for that!” Lol
Glad to see someone else who holds a handgun the same way I do. Seems like most people put their left thumb right on the frame ahead of their right thumb. I clamp my left thumb over my right like you do. I know for me, it goes back to my revolver days. Good review btw. 👍
There is an important and material difference between a firearm that is clearly of a GLOCK "DESIGN", vs. one that is a "GLOCK clone", where virtually all the parts in the frame and slide are easily replaced with "genuine GLOCK parts"... This Stoeger, which is a fine full-sized budget-friendly 9mm pistol, is obviously the former.
I am using a generalization of guns similar to function, design, and take down as a clone. I’m not saying parts are interchangeable, but it is a clone. So is the SW9VE, SD9VE, SD9 2.0, Taurus G3 and G3C…
@@crankygunreviews Well, I'll accept your position... EXCEPT when you are looking for that replacement part and it doesn't fit or work: with the Stoeger the striker itself is a prime example. P.S. There certainly are some parts that interchange vis'-a-vis' the G17 and a SW9VE, but not all: that's the big difference between CLOSE & CLONE. Cheers!
No Offense, I'm still pretty green, but the video starts with us.And the cameraman getting muhold well guns on the table literally pointing straight at us. I apologize i'm just trying to pay attention to these things so I don't make the mistake.
The camera is not a human, the camera when pointing towards the gun is beyond the shooting line and no person is over there when shooting- most of my videos are just me. I’m not being unsafe and I’m not shooting at my camera either. Thanks for your concern but it is not an issue
@crankygunreviews oh I know you got it Sr. I'm just a green horn with kiss around so I'm hyper focusing on me not making a mistake or getting bad habits. It's not you it's me the viewer. Thank you for hitting me back with a reply. ✨️

It’s really good
I love that call out at 2:50 🔥 😂
That was my 1st purchase in December of 2019 I dubbed it “Glock Killa” for the price, outstanding pistol
I agree- it’s really good
Getting 1 for myself and maybe a friend.
Thank you Sr.
They’re really good

Got the one with the brurris optic for a little over $300. Feels great in my hands like my M&P.
Nice! I love mine

I’ve had more malfunctions doing it the thumb over way- I like my way it works, and I’m sticking to it
I just got the STR-9F and really like the new engraved logo on the slide
It’s good right?
@@crankygunreviews really makes it look higher-end
@@jimeyhat it feels way more expensive than it is
Would like to see a review on the mossberg mc2c
I don’t know if I want to buy one of those. They’re not that appealing to me

@@NormanPOlt your points are all valid but I was not talking about swapping parts or replacing refer parts with Glock parts.
