- Check out this new gameplay trailer from Frost Giant:
We’re introducing a new Celestial Hero in 0.1.0, and his name is Kastiel, the Orphan of Wintros. As the ruthless and amoral Warrior-Regent of Arkhos, there is no hope in escaping his Nethersword. Devoted to the pursuit of victory at any cost, Kastiel abandoned his people's traditional reverence of Animus. He now drives the Sovereignty of Arkhos towards a secret, heretical objective-the collection and weaponization of Animus in order to destroy all his enemies. Be it through his will, or at the end of his lethal blade, the culling has begun.
Kastiel is completely free for all players that purchased the Ultimate Early Access/Founder’s Pack on Steam or Kickstarter. Everyone can play Kastiel up to level 5 for free! Fully unlocking progression (including his unique Gear) can be purchased in the store.

Where are the animations? he's barely moving when using skills or attacking, it's almost as impactful as the idle animation.
Ability 3 doesnt have an animation at all lol

Fun fact - There are lots of medieval shields with faces on them, there's even a myth or legend of sorts that has a lot of depictions, where a man with a face-shield is fighting a giant snail.

the one that LOVES this game then Starcraft and Warcraft, and another that HATES this game...
I was thinking this is going to be a new Starcraft like game... what they did is just... CTRL+C and CTRL+V :(
They are making E-sports with bugs and bad visuals... (plastic)
they need to fix a LOT!
1) so it does not look plastic
2) Campaign looks similar (I hope they are just bamboozling us)
3) AI (yeah it sucks)
4) Keyboard with +ěšřžýáé (yes I am from Czech and I use that keyboard for hotkeys like groups... but I can´t and gives me error and even crashed my game)
I am sure there are even more problem... this game has like... 1 year to live to FIX all this, they had 30M$ I think... and they did this?
I am no expert... but 30M$ in this? I would make a better job... 😅
@@karelzabijak321 There will ever, NEVER, be way to amuse both Starcraft and Warcraft folks equally. Nor we should think about it too much. Eventually Stormgate will have its own identity.

I dont care much about Starcraft at all, I prefer Warcraft alot more and I hardly care about competitive but in general its incredible how people can be happy with an outdated product looking far worse than the competition from 1-2 decades ago and pretend its good while also running absolutely bad and has very little innovation
I've noticed the artwork of certain props and units slowly improving (moving away from a fortnite filter)!!!

Not gonna lie, straight forward deleting an enemy unit seems insanely fun. Seems that I will shout "UNWORTHY!" irl whenever I'll use it.
Also, the art is looking good, feel the art team is going for a good direction, press on!

His face reminds me of the Pillar Men's faces from JoJo.
It also reminds me of Transformers, Voltron, and other 80s inspired mecha anime like Gundam, especially with that shield.

nah, it's his uhh Cousin. He's a super Chad who made Warz all jealous for getting everything handed to him and just being better and more good looking.
So we got Warz going to the dark side to make his own black jack and hookers and in fact forget the whole backstory.

He has the same face plate look as that evil guy from the first cinematic that's supposed to be representing the Infernal Host. Some really confusing design decisions.

They have put a bit more focus on polishing the game graphics. It's generally speaking illadvised to be polishing how the game looks a year or two before release. But how much development time this game can afford greatly depends on how people interact with the early access. So it seems they bit the bullet and went - well, if that's what the players want. If you look at the video there's also a lot of focus on the unit gibs, Amanra got a shiny new model, maps pop out a bit more, and who knows what else they haven't shown us yet.

Ngl, i loving the voice acting, sound design, and the cheesy final line. At first i was getting "generic badass alien", which is great but the final line pivoted him into someone great with extra character and weirdness. Love it!

He is a celestial. The "daemon lord" from the trailer is not a demon, but a celestial who betrayed his own kind, that's why they look similar.

Looks like out of a Toy from Toys Story... :/ I am not the target of this game I think. I thought Frost Giant wanted to develop a SC2 successor... It is written "Rating Pending" "May contain content inappropriate for children" but looks really childish to me.
The design couldn't be uglier even if they try to make it bad.

Absolutely not. Upkeep is the literal worst and was only in the game because the computers of the day couldn't handle large armies.
