I Can't wait For some more of theses videos. If they are all as awesome as this one I'm so exited for the future of technical Tuesday LFG pleas keep making theses video 👊👊
I started following you a few years ago and its because of you and these videos i now do alot of fishing and this will be my first year hunting(and with a bow i might add). I share these videos with my son and this year he caught his first bass( 6 years old). Thanks for the videos and all the great tips from the family from Ontario.
Thank you LFG! Just started fishing again after over a decade, just didn't have time. I have spent the entire summer this year relearning. I have been watching you for years and made sure to buy an arsenal of googan baits so I can learn. Please keep this series going, and thank Stephanie for publishing the great cookbook and great recipes!
DUDE! Your last 2 videos are sending out some serious old school LFG vibes!!! Hits home to when i started following you 6 years ago!! Thanks for the content LFG!
Grew up as a kid on Lake Texoma fishing for stripers; now in my 30’s and rediscovering fishing. I appreciate the “tech talks” as I learn how to do what my dad tried to teach me. Please, keep doing these.
This is going to be a great series. Love learning gear set up and tricks from the best. I have videos on the Alberto knot where they wrap back to the loop before going back through the loop. Does this make a difference? Very informative. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us old newbies. Much appreciated.
Graphite blanks are the industry standard, the run of the mill average rod that you'll find for sale, it's the easiest material to build to action specifications: heavy, medium, light, etc. Graphite is cheaper, lighter, faster to cure than a laminated fiberglassed rod. Glass rods are still widely preferred in catfish, carp and saltwater rods but they are expensive.
I absolutely love the idea of breaking down all things fishing. I'm new to bass fishing so I get a lot out of videos like these. LFG for googan of the decade.
Great video Justin. I love when you guys take the time to get into the weeds about setup and everything which is why I like the Googan Lab so much. You and Jon seem to have a knack for explaining things in a way that are simple yet detailed and always easy to understand. Thanks for all you do.
Would live for you to come to a NASCAR race as a guest of our team. Come to Texas motor speedway and fish the pond in front of it or to Daytona and the huge pond inside.
Thanks for the 'Honorable Mention about the pajama thing! Good to see some new merchandise coming out from this. Keep on keeping on, Bro, love your videos.
What a great video. Thanks for posting this. Most of my fishing is weightless soft plastics. Your tips and and detailed step by step instructions will be very helpful to any angler.
I absolutely love these kinds of videos. While the “fun” videos are great, these technical features are solid reminders of how to better your game as anglers! Big thanks, Justin!!
20b/15F monobacked for me. Somehow been on the same line since the Googan Gold finneses dropped. Pre ordered mine. Same hammer hook in a 3/0 same alberto knot. Wrap same amount backwards on your alberto knot for a true alberto knot. Makes it even smother to the guides. 5 up 5 back, make it nice and neat.
Nice video. Very informative. It would be awesome if you talked about reel ratio, line size, rod action you use for different baits at different times of the year!
As an inexperienced angler these are the kind of videos I need and enjoy. I wanna know everything down to if you’re wearing socks or not. I gave up using leaders because my knots were trash and I lost lures. You made that look really simple so I’m Gonna try it out now. Also high vis line is a yes!
I love these types of videos cause some times people do things a little different that could help me out or at least worth trying, for example I might be stupid but I did not know that specific difference for use between 4 stand to 8 strand. Also yes I would love to see the hi-vis braid
Definitely keep up technical Tuesday. Appreciate any and all tips. You guys should do the hi visible line I usually use bright green easy to see for me being an older gentleman lol Keep up the great videos.
Great video Justin. Been learning a lot from you for year and they keep getting better. Would be interested if they did bring out that color for us to buy.
I have never used a baitcaster. Can you demonstrate a good solid baitcasting setup, and why and when you prefer using it. Love the detail you went into for your weightless setup.
@@johnsalazar245 Their spinning rods come in 3 models for both the Gold Series rods and Green Series. Their Spinning rods come in Finesse, Finesse Light, and Finesse 2 Piece (2 pc travel rod). I have the Finesse spinning Gold and have caught 3-4lb bass on it for two years now with no problems. I don't boat flip big fish as that strains and shortens the lifespan of any graphite rod. I use a net or fish grippers, and it's safer too. Especially when fishing lures with treble hooks.
Just in time lol I was back lashing my baitcaster... thinking my rod is too heavy for what I was trying do ill stay tuned for the t-rig baitcaster series
I’m newer to targeting bass and not just fishing. So my question is does it matter if you use high vis vs low vis braid on a casting setup for like frog fishing or top water baits and like jig fishing?
If you're using High Vis braid (without leader line) tied straight to a frog for topwater, you can use a black sharpie marker to black out the 2-3 foot section of the line behind the knot. The marker trick should also work just as well for deep / ultra clear water jig fishing. This is how Ike and even Brian Latimer does it. 👊😎🎣
Alberto is the only leader to braid knot I’ve ever used fishing. Rarely have the knot fail compared to the knot at the lure. I can tie that knot faster than a Palomar on a jig!
The first video you showed of fishing with yellow/orange braid showed why you use it......you could see the fish tick tick.....and set the hook!! Love the detail! Do you always take your displays off after you fish?! Have a great week!!
Such an underrated googan bait! That baby puts off some water and noise for a soft plastic. I've caught multiple on one until the fish tore off the legs and I didn't have another in the boat, so I fished it without legs over some pads and still managed to snag one! It was KILLER! 🤘
I like to purchase the 8 strain braid at either 15# or 20#. These pounds are good to use on spinning reels no matter what you are fishing for. I think the color will sale as well! Thanks for the information!
Those green spinning reels look KILLER! I will definitely have one. But I love all your tips and tricks. When u go into detail, I grab the note pad. Lol I really have learned alot from u. Really appreciate it. Keep KILLIN IT BROTHER! 🤘
@@conniebennett6646 Hey bro, there's only so much information u can retain up there. Ha No shame in notes. Lol If this man speaks, you jus gotta take it in. His knowledge is top notch!🤘

Thank you LFG!

If you're frog fishing, deep water cranking or jigging/trolling, go with the Googan Muscle Rods. 💪😎🎣
