It was definitely a few days of crazy weather. We're a couple hours away from Chicago. Friday night this is the first time the tornado siren went off 3 times within 15 minutes. Usually just goes off once. There was a couple of ef-0 tornado touchdowns near us. It was interesting to see the damage, mostly just trees down, but we did see a couple of trees on cars. Did you guys get any of those storms?

You need to put the food in your shelter. It does no good if the tornado tears up the house and you lose the food. You should also get 5 gallon buckets, probably 4-5, you can put water in and seal them up. Put extra clothes and shoes there as well.

lived in Oklahoma most my life I live near Tulsa ,two spiders to watch out for specially, in places like your shelter are brown recluse and black widows. always spray your shelters couple times a year.

Hope you didn't get any real damage. If you can't get to your shelter for whatever reason, an interior room with no windows is best. I love weather as well, I just hate the destruction.
