I really hope they do more free dlc in the future; they're usually all SO expensive!
Especially since many of the early packs have less stuff in them than newer ones, yet they’re the same price
That's why I only ever buy them on sale. Literally the only packs I ever bought day one were Vampires, Realm of Magic, and Werewolves, because I just had to have them immediately. All others I pick up at a discount.
they really should start giving away older stuff and kits cause no way most players are spending their limited pack budget on most of them

I definitely think they chose those packs specifically because they're currently the worst selling game pack, stuff pack & kit.
I would've thought outdoor adventurebis worse and journey to batuu. I personally think the jungle adventure one was actually good ofc there are better ones like the werewolves and... the werewolves.

I don’t think Jungle Adventure is badly made, it’s just that a lot of the player base doesn’t care for that type of gameplay
@@YouKnowImOnMyPeriodYah Personally, I think it is worth it for the build/buy and the location alone. I don't care much for the archaeology skill, but it's actually a really fun world to vacation in, even without the archaeology.
@Estrogen_Fiend I totally forgot it existed. For some reason when I first read a tweet about these free dlc I thought they were talking about the Incheon Arrivals kit so I was so confused why I couldn’t find any of those clothes. I had to look at my dlc and figure out which one it was and what items it came with 🤣 there’s so many kits it’s extremely easy to forget that some exist
@Estrogen_Fiend in my opinion it is normal id say ppl prefer to buy clothes they can use on every sim ans this kit is made specifically to dress up in Indian style i mean u can use somw of those clothes but comparing to other kits it's rather boring
Having the buffet table at a rental could kiiinda make sense, like maybe the rental comes with a cook who leaves food during your stay. Handy for the busy archeologist you know?

I rushed over to epic when you mentioned it a few days ago, and i am so, so happy. Jungle Adventure had been one of the packs I've wanted most for so long but as a broke college student I couldn't afford to randomly drop $20 on a sims pack. it is genuinely so fun and has some of the best build/buy stuff I have ever seen from the sims 4.
Did you just get it and it worked with your existing sims game?

@@TheKetoKittyGamer they did for me. i purchased every other pack from steam and once i synced my accounts, it worked fine.
Why doesn't the free bundle show on my epicgame store? It only shows 3 bundle packs (pet lover, decorator's dream, and everyday sims) which are ALL PRICED. Where's the free one? Please help me :(
I'm really glad that ea gives free packs to the community but also as a console player I feel like it's kinda unfair not having access to the free packs just because I'm not playing in a pc...

i've really been enjoying these free packs, but luxury party is literally only useful for the clothes because it has some good party wear 😅
Luxury Party pairs well with Wedding Stories and Vintage Glamour if you like to make super high-class wedding venues
Also high school years for prom... but that's it really tbh

This does work on Mac - sort of. I had to use a co-worker's PC, log in to epic, log into EA and sync the accounts. Then when I logged back into Origin, the three packs were marked as purchased.
That's a co-worker that you should keep. A true friend

@@ninakb while on the pc I opened the ea app using my origin login details and it automatically synced with epic.
so this won't work if I try to sync epic and ea on my Mac? I'm so confused
I would have built a super modern home with jungle adventure accents here and there (like a tropical home but make it super modern) then I think it would have been easier to incorporate lux party stuff. Id imagine a wealthy family having the home as their exclusive vacation home

My first thought was a tropical frat house. Like dude with rich parents goes on Spring Break with his frat and they party all day there
True, the villa style wasn’t the best option.
I think Luxury Party items are good for a fancy lounge or maybe even a nightclub especially somewhere like Del Sol Valley. Also i love using the clothes for my more ridiculous celebrities
I fully don't understand simmers aversion to mismatching wood, my livingroom has like 5 different woods going on (floor, wall, a small table, the dining room set and then a bookcase) and it looks fine, I do it in sims all the time too and it looks fine lmao.
I feel the same way! I like my mismatched wood ☺️
It doesn't bug me in real life at all, but in the sims for some reason it sometimes irks me a bit.
I think two or three different wood tones can look okay but if literally none of them match, it just doesn't look cohesive
@Theater00jock This is exactly how I feel! If I bought a flat and had the money to choose whatever furniture I'd like, I would only choose darker colours of wood (because of my personal style and taste), but I hate having both cool, neutral and warm tones in the Sims. Especially in the kitchen.
i think it works very well for more maximalist homes (irl or sims). & of course crazy colored furniture. i have a bright yellow bookcase & it is like my favorite bookcase. also have a gold-painted curio cabinet. a lot of my stuff is colorful & we dont really have any matching wood besides some black cherry pieces. just love to go crazy with it lol & i do this a lot in the sims as well with my builds
i find this video funny because when i got the packs i attempted to do the exact same thing and i don’t think i ended up using a single luxury party item

It is perhaps truly the most wild combo, but given that ive put off buying jungle adventure for so long, I'll take it 😂 sometimes it does benefit you to procrastinate
I actually didn’t have any of these sims packs/etc so I’m actually glad they picked these. I would have loved Island Living too though.

For those who can’t find it… seems like it expired. Seems silly to be to say something ends May 18 and end it in the middle of the day. I contacted Epic Games to express my disappointment over this and ask for it to be extended through the remainder of today… there are strength in numbers. I encourage others to do the same.
The light cube looks perfect in a dark nightclub. And since Selvadorada culture is very much about dancing (the rumbasim), it makes sense to use these free packs to make an awesome nightclub to visit on your holiday in Selvadorada.
No but now we need a luxury party themed build with 2 jungle adventure pieces

tbh, i’ve been using the glowing cubes as night stands for my children/teens! just sized down once 😲honestly, i’ve been mixing those with the cool rugs, and i’ve honestly made some cute rooms, if i do say so myself 💁🏼
I feel like the sims team need to give luxury party stuff another chance like if they were only going to refresh one more pack and that's it then it should be luxury party stuff. I also quite like the CAS bc it gives us 7 new hairs as well as a couple of nice bracelets and dresses. I also feel like the cas in luxury party stuff gives hunger games capitol fashion vibes and i like it
I checked the cas on an adult sim and i only saw like 3/4 new hairs. Does it have kids hairs?
@@persephonejames8374it doesn't have any hairs for kids but it has 4 female hairs and 3 male hairs
I think the glittery/glowy LP stuff could work in a 'crystal cave' sort of room, perhaps with a pool or water feature.

As someone who has purchased all the packs, I wish they’d give the people who spent their money something too. Like maybe a kit voucher because they are sooo overpriced imo

I thought this when they gave the base game away for free!
They gave the desert luxe kit for free before the base game was free but I feel like a kit that you can get for $7 is a cop out compared to the price of the base game before it was free

@@laikaaardwolf3177 this isn’t even just a sale though, they first make the game free and now some of the DLC. People have spent hundreds of dollars on this stuff just for other people to get it free.
Thanks for letting us know about the free packs! I downloaded them a few days ago. Jungle Adventure was the only one on my wish list, but happy to have the other ones for free as a bonus. 😄 I thought I’d just want jungle adventure for the build mode items, but I’ve actually been enjoying the gameplay as well. I started with a husband and wife archaeologist team going through the Jungle Explorer and Archaeology aspirations and it’s been fun! Now they have a little toddler who goes on the adventures into the ancient temples with them. So fun! And it’s actually a pretty good way to earn money when you are able to sell the treasures you find. I keep one of each to decorate my house with, but then sell the extras.
It’s not something I see myself integrating into regular legacy family gameplay, but it’s fun to play with for this specific family.
you should do a normal suburban house with base game and jungle adventure to show how the pack can be used outside selvadorada!
The real reason that I wanted Jungle Adventure is how much you use it in your builds!
I honestly, I’ve got a lot of use from Luxury Party, especially when I was little. I had this one family I played with a lot and no one cooked. I just had them grab food from the buffet table. I was also OBSESSED with the chocolate fountain (I went on a vacation a few years later to a place with a real life chocolate fountain and I was absolutely ecstatic. To this day, a chocolate fountain is probably one of the first unnecessary things I’d buy if I was rich). That “house” that they lived in was just a bunch of pre-made rooms placed down on an empty lot in, I think, willow creek. The walk ways between the rooms were outdoors and none of the styles mixed up. The only room I built myself was the kids’ collective bedroom. Pretty sure that spa day glowing wallpaper were at least SOMEWHERE in that room. It was empty, it was bright, it’s pure nostalgia haha. The whole “house” with all its separate rooms was connected by one large square roof piece that I added a few months into playing. It was also the save with my first trans sims, as that update had just come out :)
I didn't realize how much build stuff jungle adventure has! I'm excited to play with it ☺️
simsie should make a sim using these packs too cause there's a lot of cas items in those packs

they are really random and idk which i should add next 😂😂
mixed wood is such a beautiful and eclectic look! it has so much character!! genuinely one of my favorite things to do in house flipper is mix and match woods
I kinda like luxury party. Like, yes, it’s really small and obviously older than almost every other pack, but I’ve always had a soft spot for the shiny CAS it came with. It can work as a shorthand for ”this sim is rich and trendy” or ”this sim THINKS they’re cool” or ”they just love glitter and don’t care what anyone else thinks” all depending on context.
I like it too. The partywear section of CAS is pretty lacking in base game, so it was fun to have some more glam options in there.

Luxury party feels like it ties into spa day - that weird glowing cube goes well with the spa day glowing wallpaper/floor. One of them contains rejects for the other
I put off getting jungle adventure for so long but once I got it it became one of my three most used, including seasons and cats and dogs, all mostly for the build/buy. But my favorite save started with two adventurers who spend a LOT of time in Salvadorada 😊
I like the orange walls. Its common to have bright walls in tropical countries
Luxury party has those fancy curtains that i'm actually really happy to have for one specific build i'm working on, would have never bought the pack just for that though obviously
the furniture from jungle adventure really suits the luxury party curtains and some of its swatches. I have tried it and the combo is really good!
I actually love jungle adventure. It has the best floors and cabinets. Super cute fridge and oven. I love the decor and colors. You can def decorate a whole house and have it look cute
Even though I’ll probably never buy a computer because I hate buying stuff twice (the other packs), it’s nice they’re giving stuff out for free regardless. Even if it is a weird combo 💀

i like building very modern homes so i'm glad i have the glow cube now lol (i'm also glad it was free cause i was never going to willingly buy luxury party 😂😅)
I once used the glow cubes to build a frame for a lot-sized rendition of the ball pit. I don't think I've used them otherwise.
Build challenge for Kayla! Make an entire built using absolutely no blue! So, for example, if a rug has multiple colors and one of them happens to be blue, that swatch is a no go.

I think the packs kinda fit together! I picture a rich fancy professor (think indiana jones) who has always explored the world and its many countries and is just now exploring the jungle in el salvadorada

Irrelevant but I thought i should share, the house that was on the lot you built on was the house my sim Gabriel died of poisoning in, he was like gen 6 of my 2 year, 30 gen save. Back then I didn't know that sims could die of poisoning. Luckily he already had a daughter or else my legacy save would've ended right there XD
You could add a basement to this build that has all the Luxury Party stuff. It could be the fun party hangout area. I feel like people would enjoy that space in a vacation house.
I think they work together just fine. I made a chapel for a destination wedding in Selvadorado. 😊The buffet table is great. 😁

So sad, just now seeing this video and went through all of the effort to get the bundle since the article said until May 18th. Went through a lengthy conversation with Epic Games Support and it looks like it already expired. Surprised they expire it so early in the day. :(
i love those jungle adventure tiles so much. its a great pack overall. but those tiles are so good, specifically bc they remind me of the tiles in my childhood house
As soon as this was announced I went and got them immediately. I have always loved the jungle/tropical rainforest! I then made the Templo Mayor (most famous Aztec step pyramid) and then made Sydney Fox and Nigel Bailey from the show Relic Hunter. I just wish that my sims and I could live in Selvadora. It's so beautiful. I am obsessed.

I once designed a 3 story dance club where the basement was the dance floor called hell, the 1st floor was the bar area called purgatory, and the upstairs was VIP called heaven. And I used those glow cubes as end tables all over the place in heaven. Those, and the cloud lamps, which I have never used anywhere else.
Honestly Jungle Adventures has some of my favorite build items, I use the wallpapers ALL THE TIME, I love the texture of the solid walls, and the tiles look so luxurious in some swatches, I adore this pack

depending on how much you already spent on the game, you can easily get all of the stuff for free if you dont mind staying offline while playing
I missed it because for some reason youtube decided not to recommend me any simsie videos for like 4 days now even though I usually watch all her videos? It’s so sad because I didn’t own any of these packs yet and actually really would’ve wanted Jungle Adventure. Really glad for everyone who did get the packs tho!

It does work for Mac players! I play on Mac and as long as your origin or EA account is linked to your epic account it works! At least it does for me so I don’t see why it would be different for everyone else!

I just right in time which is surprising because I haven't opened my game since January
I did something similar (didn't disable my other packs though) and I went down an alladin palace kind of vibe with like a modern take on an arabic-esque home, it worked quite well, got loads of the luxury stuff in but could use the build stuff from jungle because of the 'old' elements to the house.
that weird slope glitch with the round deck has been happening to me too! i thought it was just platforms but i guess the rounded items are broken again
i become inactive in the community for like three weeks and miss a FREE BUNDLE??? cmon now 😭😭😭

I love the shoes, accessories and clothing from luxury party. The shoes in particular are my go to for my sims.
When I tell you I SHOT UP from bed when I saw thiss!! I was about to go to sleep because..yk, school, and I then I saw this and spent an hour getting it to install. I HAVE THEMMM. If it's free, I will have it. I love free things.

as someone who got luxury party when it came out as a gift, i use the glowing cube and glitter table oddly often. wasnt worth tho but at least i didnt pay djdhd
alright, but what if you did this more, like weird pack combos using james turner (formerly the sims supply)'s pack randomizer, like imagine you get vampires...and city living? or strangerville and snowy escape, or my first pet stuff and cottage living.

I like luxury party because I used it for pretend proms and gala style parties for story purposes like a party at a museum because my painter sim had to "mingle with patrons" and some items work well as wedding decor for wedding venues.
i can agree with you on the build mode, but luxury party cas is great! i love the formal stuff!

i almost bought jungle adventure way back when they were having that massive sale because the build/buy items are just soooo good. but im glad i waited lol cause now i got it for free

i really wanted to get the packs.. i went on their web site, it was there and before i downloaded their launcher, it was sudenly unavailable. im really upset now.. i did what they wanted and they just couldnt give me the packs . its still the date they written about, so i dont get it.

I was so excited and happy to get Jungle Adventure. I may or may not have played it for like, 6 hours once I got it instead of homework.
I actually really like Luxury Party oop 😂 a lot of the stuff is excellent for wedding, prom and nightclub type builds, and the glow cube has a lil bit of nostalgia attached to it for me bc the Sims 2 Nightlife had something similar that I still use all the time
