Whitewater kayakers Grady Kellogg, Brody Kellogg, Kenny Kellogg, and Dally Kellogg push limits to the extreme. While driving across British Columbia they came across a man-made creek bed that dropped straight out of the mountains. It was steep, slippery, and very long. After scrambling up as far as they could make it before they ran out of time, these extreme kayakers picked up speeds of about 27mph sliding down this creek!

👉 I did this exact same drainage area in the exact same model of kayak, using the exact same tactics. My buddy recorded it, and although the video doesn't really look like I was going any faster, I was actually hitting 95mph the whole time! 😁

What I don't understand about this is how do you kayak down such little water that you can't even paddle? What is the point of the paddle? Seems like it's basically just for balance

Does that damage bottom of the Kayak?
It does give some scratches. But not as bad as you'd think. There is s layer of algae on the concrete. This algea also helps us go as fast as we were.
