Finally tried it yesterday and today is d day after chilling overnight. It tastes yummy and very rich. Although, mine wasn't as firm as i would have wanted it to but it holds up. I guess maybe it's a different brand of creamcheese and was short of about 50grams😊. Per box was 225gr each. I used 3 Large eggs. @@HowTasty
Yes, the apples release their juice and you don’t need water bath for this cheesecake. Moreover water bath would keep the streusel topping soggy and not crispy. Consider that water bath is needful to avoid cracks on top of cheesecake, but in this case there is no cracks problem 😉
Ciao Cara Mia. I could never put the topping on my cheesecake. You have seen how much mine rises out of the pan, all the toppings would fall Off. I did make an apple 🍎🍏 cheesecake years ago. I used dried apple slices that I chopped them up and mixed into the vanilla cheesecake. I made a pan of apple crumble and put a large scoop of the crumble on top of the slice of cheesecake.
