- Paul gets his hands on the new Sako 90 rifle and takes it on a driven hunt in Finland, where there are running elk and whitetail. Find out how he and the newly-launched rifle get on. Plus Charlie is in India which is talking about re-starting tiger hunting. And Deborah heads to Wales where rural people are angry with the Welsh government. We are giving away a gilet from Vale Field & Game in Leicestershire priced at £79, David talks foxes on the news stump, and James Marchington has the best hunting videos on RUclips in Hunting RUclips. It’s all in this week’s #FieldsportsBritain

Great show guys! And congratulations Paul on the moose and white tail deer👏🏻 it’s a good job David is good with the camera and has good hearing😉
Excellent show this evening, thanks for very much Charlie, David and Team! Interesting stuff in India. Big problems with leopard around the cities, in the parks and on the outskirts.
Paul shot very well, again.
Keep up the good fight, we all need to get on line regarding that Welsh anti game shooting legislation. With 339k subscribers on here, if we all sign in and leave our polite comments we could tip the balance.
Thanks, Colin. / Charlie
Wales have a good legacy of getting enemy incursions out quick,so hope they win this one also.
@Graham peters and you are of the true enemy of everything , the greenwasher

Awesome shot Paul, i didnt know that 308 will kill a Moose so easily
We use the 308 on elk and moose in the US. It’s a very effective cartilage, although I prefer the 30-‘06.
As they say, the wrong bullet in the right place is always going to be better than the right one in the wrong place.
@@rogersmith8339 This is true, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a 308 on any game in Europe. My preference for the 30-‘06 is for brown bear, and retained energy past 300 yards. Neither of which is an issue in Europe.
I have a Norwegian friend who hunts moose with a 6.5 x 55. He tells me because of new laws coming down the pike, and because he hunts red stag in Scotland, he is switching to a 270 Winchester. He’s deciding on whether a 110 grain or 130 grain solid copper projectile is best.
@@falba1492 The 308 is a very flexible cartridge and depending on the rifle will handle pretty heavy bullets. Personally I use a 270 Win for all my deer in the UK and foxes for little more reason than I fancied one. It does mean I can down load to make it comfortable in my very light classic European sporting rifle when I am only after the smaller deer yet stoke it up for boar in my heavier modern one.
180 in ,308 handles much of many needs, above that 06 or .300 Mag .
vote to get them out people
I’m afraid it’s a bit late if we would of all stuck together when the hunting ban was being enacted instead of only backing our own activities we might have stood a chance. But we didn’t I hear people saying I don’t agree with fox hunting or I don’t agree with shooting and a lot them were people who go fishing we are all under attack so stick together or you will lose your sport.
The Welsh shooters need to become the squeakier wheel and remind your elected representatives that their job is to represent their electors and NOT to push personal agendas on their electors.
Not much hope for nature in the third world. There is a solution and it's not killing tigers.
