    Seasons greeting from NZ 😉.
    That was a cracking video, thank you for sharing it with us.
    Even after 30 plus year here, I still find it strange to have
    Christmas in the summer!
    I got invited to join two experienced hunters on a Himalayan
    Tahr hunt after Xmas, this happened to be my first.
    With their help with the ballistics, because shooting on steep
    inclines change's the point of aim, I was able to score three
    youngish Tahr at over 400yds.
    Again, great video thanks Mark😊.

    Happy new year mark, bit unlucky on a deer there first thing those fallow are very skittish and a nightmare to get on too but still you had a few foxes mate. That nocpix thermal scope got great picture quality and seems up to the job too. Great video mark , thanks again . 👍

    Quite a bit different than where I hunt (AWOL The Season Never Ends). From your other videos, you’re a very fine shot! Congrats! Best in the new year.

    Mark.
💕 Tomas 🇸🇪

    Cracking the nocpix units
    I often wonder which internal organs I could sell on the Bmt to pay for one 🤔😅

    Great job...
    I'd love to hear a bit about your rifle cleaning regiment.
    With the long ranges I would assume whatever you do, it might have an influence on the point of impact...

      To be honest I used to clean the barrel after every outing but now I only really clean it if the accuracy doesn’t seem up to scratch!

    At the beginning you mentioned that you wanted something small that you could carry easily, but only mentioned roe or fallow, are muntjac not suitable? Good work on the foxes, it's surprising how close the first one came, only 30 something yards I think you said, close enough for a smaller calibre.

    • @260rips
      @260rips 16 дней назад +1

      Yes muntjac are just starting to get a foothold close by but not quite to this farm yet!

    Nice shot👍 I’ve just bought the ace H50R can you tell me if you’ve done a firmware update on it and did you have to do a factory reset afterwards? As I can find any information on it

    • @260rips
      @260rips 16 дней назад +1

      I’ve not done any updates on it, I’m a bit of a believer with these things that if it ain’t broke don’t fix it 😆

    Hi Mark great vid
    Was just about to buy a hik stella 3.0 but seen people going on about the nocpix now
    Which one do you find more clear out of the two units if you was spending your own money which one would you go for?

    • @260rips
      @260rips 16 дней назад

      They are very comparable but I would go for the nocpix, I think it’s slightly sharper 👍

    • @silverback5320
      @silverback5320 15 дней назад

      @260rips hi Mark that's very interesting what about general quality overall between them and use etc?
      I was looking at the SQ50L so I don't know if the modules are comparable at the same price point?
      I already use hik thermal products
