I'm just amazed how both Anakin and Ahsoka are just fine arguing while they're in a firefight while we're just seeing Rex being like, "Here we go again." There's never a dull moment when you're part of the 501st.

@@AceTheFett Actually it make sense they do that. If Captain Rex first to jump he can fracture that's why Anakin and Ahsoka throm him up because he don't have force and you see the explosion make the wall destroyed.
I love the juxtaposition. Rex had that badass moment, walking into the shield. Then we see him screaming like a girl because he thinks he’s about to die
I always loved this arc, and this episode in particular. It was early in the series and showed how tough and costly war is. Also Rex falling is hilarious!
I wanted there to be a moment later in the series where Anakin and Rex are about ambush someone from the high ground(auto-win). Anakin gives a 1 2 3-go, but Rex just shoves him over the edge, yelling "That's for that time on Geonosis, Skywalker"
That one big fortress wall with lasers blazing, probably one of the most difficult tasks to destroy. Also not to mention, a CRAPPY PLAN getting into. And actually, it's regularly Skywalker that gets the messiest plans and getting caught too.

I only came here to see the 212th getting destroyed by the Geonosians. The tension that scene had was crazy, and no one is mentioning it like that. I know they all survive, but it really did feel hopeless for Obi-Wan.
@@sdm47 It had many great moments you simpleton. Exact same writers, exact same team as TCW. In fact in relation to this scene it gave us two specific great moments. Vader vs Ahsoka and Rex having PTSD and making amends with the Droids.

The 1st flashback was the Battle of Ryloth. You're right though, the outfits don't match. I guess Disney didn't like the idea of putting a live action tween girl in a tube-top. I do remember the debate years ago about early Clone Wars Ahsoka's outfit being too sexually suggestive, but whatever. 🤷
