I personally ran the Fram HP 1k on my 327 powered 72 Chevy LUV. When I built the motor I put in a 427 high volume pump, drive coupling, and shaft. With Valvoline 50 wt. racing oil it had over 200 psi at start up when cold, and never burst one of the Fram HP filters. It ran street and strip for 18 years with no issues with the remote kit.

I only used the HP filters if you read what I said. The HP filters are the Racing/Heavy Duty Filters.
Yeah, I'm talking about the HP filters. Google "Fram HP filter fail" and see how they just collapse into themselves.

I don't know what to tell you, I don't make them. When I used them several years ago, they were the ONLY ones that did not burst from 200 psi oil pressure, all the others I tried did. Ask Fram, maybe they know.

Just want to throw this in, these would be great for the 4x4 crowd too.
If you have ever changed the oil on a sb350 suburban and had oil run all over your front driveshaft due to the sideways mounted filter directly above the shaft - you will know what i mean.
I have a different, but comparable relocation filter system(with after filter cooler) in my truck and it is just a time/mess saver. It is not a super beefy engine by any means (383 vortec), I just got tired of having to wrap parts in tin foil to avoid a mess.

Is it just a rumor that Fram filters have less filter material than the competition? That was one aspect that was not mentioned at all.
Looks exactly like my dual filter kit I bought from summit that cost 80 bucks or soI use on my 1st gen 383 turbo motor.

Do they have these for Gen III Hemis? The Hemis have really great timing cover swaps for older cars, but the oil pans and filters can be irritating
