You are one of many voices that helped me through the rough years of Vietnam and the civil rights struggles of my youth. I was lucky to have seen Joan's last live concert on her last tour in Madrid Spain. I have been listening to her all my life and was able to meet her back stage and thank her for her life work. She is a truly caring, loving person who has spent her life struggling to help those who suffer from those who hate, abuse and oppress. She is a true American and world hero who is loved and respected for her work not only in the States but around the world! A courageous and loving person who has put herself on the front line going back to the Civil rights movement and all the other movements to make this world a more just and better place to live!
