57:55 "I'm not that fantastic with computers" Well, Shadow was locked up in stasis for 50 years - it's like the equivalent of a grandparent trying to use a smartphone

It’s funny how at the end it showed Metal Sonic wearing a “Go Dad” shirt, which means either Metal was happy for his creator or the more likely option of Eggman forcing him to wear it.
Sage is the one who genuinely adores her father, and she didn't look the slightest bit enthused. They probably had it on from earlier expecting the train to arrive, Sonic and co. to be eliminated, and celebrate, but it never showed.
He was probably forced to wear it by Sage since he doesn't really have any emotions towards Eggman. And Sage canonically sees other Eggman creations as her siblings so it makes sense. Either way it's funny and cute as hell
He was one of the two main characters in Knuckles Chaotix though. most of this is pointless or wrong such as amy having a sqeaky hammer. thats blatantly untrue, not sure where you got that from and yes amy does have actual super strength
@@reggielacey2235 Look up Sonic Champions/Sonic the Fighters, the first game where she has a hammer. It's clearly a squeaky toy hammer there, same as in Sonic Heroes. Or just listen to the sound effect it tends to have, it uses the typical media sound effect those kind of hammers have in Japanese media. Where it sounds like two blocks of wood hitting together. In only like 2 or 3 instances. The only games to reference her having any actual amount of super strength is Sonic Battle (which not only wasnt done by Sonic Team, but has a botched English script, btw) and this one due to this being written by the social media team. The only instance I can think of that would actually lend to her having super strength is Sonic X, but that one already gets a lot of the canon warped due to it being more of an anime and has those kinds of tropes but even then they don't make it seem like she has super strength outside of her hammer. In the games themselves, most of her feats are done with her hammer. Meaning her hammer is where most of the damage comes from. There's also a moment from the IDW comics, but a lot of the general idea people have of her having super strength is a gross misunderstanding of how her hammer works.
The endless runner game you're talking about in the final stretch is called Sonic Dash. Simple but pretty genuinely fun. I fucking LOVE high-effort April Fools jokes, so this was a VERY welcome curveball. Didn't expect it to be as genuinely good as it was either, such a pleasant surprise.
58:26 I'm conflicted. On one hand, Shadow was created on the Ark, which was full of technology and scientists, and the time he spent there, however short, was enough to befriend Maria. So he SHOULD know a thing or two about computers. On the other hand, I don't know if home computers were on the ark.
The Thinking Dream gear mini game reminds me of the Neo The world ends with you when Fret has to use his *REMIND* Psychic powers(you gotta rotate the control sticks in different angles to piece together a drawing of a memory Of someone/something)
I have no earthly idea why this game was so good *and* so difficult. Not the mystery, that was obvious, but the *running.* During the last of the ones before the twist I was hoping there wouldn’t be any harder ones… which aged REALLY bad.
That one-for-the-team option really couldn't be better at all. Rupert's face is incredibly monotone-happy and just said I sacrifice myself so the conductor doesn't get sued

Ah, a reference to Mr. Wright like this whole game is an Ace Attorney spoof. Smart. But I suppose we can still call the OC Phoenix even if he wasn’t a bird.
Just started up this game, I think I know where the story is going. "It was a murder mystery party at first but then someone actually captured sonic" is what I'm thinking
It wasn't included in the video, but Amy mentions in the game that it was a spare she brought along because it was lighter than her usual hammer, since she didn't think she'd need it
I'd like to see more of Espio in the games. But when I first played it I really thiught it was either Shadow or Knuckles. I never suspected Espio but it makes sense. Love it.
I named myself “fool” so every time they talked to me, it sounded like they were insulating me PS: The game is head canon. It says in the game description.

- And to be fair on Shadow not knowing how to handle computers, the last time he tried to he just karate chopped the thing XD
most of this is pointless or wrong such as amy having a sqeaky hammer. thats blatantly untrue, not sure where you got that from and yes amy does have actual super strength
Why does the image of Vector eating a bookshelf and Espio walking in seeing it and then backing out slowly seem so funny to me?
ngl i thought shadow locked the doors because he didnt want anyone sneaking in while he was playing a masterpiece on the piano
new headcanon: shadow is a master pianist

@@SlashCraftJack not necessarily lol it's just clear that those 2 got something going on

When they pulled out the chao chain then you should've had plankton saying "shing, sparkle sparkle"
Shadow not being able to use a computer well makes sense because he’s like 50 years old
Also because every time he interacted with one in Shadow the Hedgehog, he fucking punched it, or went inside it with alien magic
this seems like a real thing, not just a game for april fools day, i love this so much
The endless runner game you're talking about in the final stretch is called Sonic Dash. Simple but pretty genuinely fun.
I fucking LOVE high-effort April Fools jokes, so this was a VERY welcome curveball. Didn't expect it to be as genuinely good as it was either, such a pleasant surprise.
as far as april fools jokes, this is really cool. I love seeing SEGA do stuff with fans.
58:26 I'm conflicted. On one hand, Shadow was created on the Ark, which was full of technology and scientists, and the time he spent there, however short, was enough to befriend Maria. So he SHOULD know a thing or two about computers.
On the other hand, I don't know if home computers were on the ark.
this isnt canon
I'm glad/happy that they used IDW drawings of these characters because these look nice.
Edit: Why is this art style cute!?
Yet the writing is better than a lot of IDW itself, it's pretty funny when you think about it.
@@shinodax7123 A little yeah.
This is a Danganronpa ace attorney and sonic crossover and I’m all for it!
eggman mustve been so happy to hear this
My new headcannon is Rupert serving me Chicken Cordon Bleu on the Sonic murder train
The Thinking Dream gear mini game reminds me of the Neo The world ends with you when Fret has to use his *REMIND* Psychic powers(you gotta rotate the control sticks in different angles to piece together a drawing of a memory Of someone/something)
This was the change to the series they wanted after Frontiers. Just killing off the series.
I have no earthly idea why this game was so good *and* so difficult.
Not the mystery, that was obvious, but the *running.* During the last of the ones before the twist I was hoping there wouldn’t be any harder ones… which aged REALLY bad.
I just realized this but

How does knuckles cross his arms with a those giant ass fist 🤨
Silver should have been a shopkeeper.
Sonic Dating Sim....it may be the last thing the fandom needs, but i can bet is one of the things that the fandom wants
That one-for-the-team option really couldn't be better at all. Rupert's face is incredibly monotone-happy and just said I sacrifice myself so the conductor doesn't get sued
I admire your courage to record your stream of this hilarious April Fool's visual novel with full commentary despite being sick. I hope you recovered smoothly from your sickness since then. ;)
Also, first time watching, I didn't realise that the black man in the TikTok clip you chose for your Among Us reference was saying "Sussy baka". As a result, I honestly feel that using such a clip would lead to future accusations of racism via unintentional stereotyping. No offence, I'm just looking out for you. ;)
one little series of @Choctopus is the cosmic shake, it is amazing watching him play it.
That’s an actual game?! That’s pure gold!!!
Glad everyone’s okay though, that ending has so much going on!
The only thing they had to do was make the MC a bird so people could name him "Phoenix."
Missed opportunity there, Sega.
Ah, a reference to Mr. Wright like this whole game is an Ace Attorney spoof. Smart. But I suppose we can still call the OC Phoenix even if he wasn’t a bird.
45:18 it's Diabolical Box all over again
"Trains are cool."- Espio, 2023
I know it was mostly a joke but like that actually was a pretty damn good vector impression
“Trains are cool.” -Espio the Poet, 2023
"Finally the blue rat is dead." - some guy in the official announcement trailer
Probably Cubot.
Just started up this game, I think I know where the story is going.
"It was a murder mystery party at first but then someone actually captured sonic"
is what I'm thinking
The fact this is better than most new sonic games
I can’t believe there is an official Ace Attorney-like Sonic game.
AMY'S HAMMER BROKE? I was UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT WAS NEAR INDESTRUCTIBLE
It was a spare
Actually she can summon new ones from thin air with Looney Tunes logic.
Or I guess Sega is saying it's because of Psychic powers now.
It wasn't included in the video, but Amy mentions in the game that it was a spare she brought along because it was lighter than her usual hammer, since she didn't think she'd need it
I was no expecting this game to have so many twists and turns. Truly amazing
Bro vector and espio's dynamic in this game reminds me of the "he asked for no pickles" meme
I never thought I'd see a Ace Attorney/Danganronpa & Sonic Fusion, But I'm Living for it. : )
All in all, the quality of recent Sonic stuff has been skyrocketing.
The movies, Frontiers, the IDW comics, Prime.
I'd like to see more of Espio in the games. But when I first played it I really thiught it was either Shadow or Knuckles. I never suspected Espio but it makes sense. Love it.
“What did omochao do to be wanted by the police?”
“Medical Malpractice”
58:05 Shadow's a pasty boomer confirmed!
I named myself “fool” so every time they talked to me, it sounded like they were insulating me
PS: The game is head canon. It says in the game description.
I will treat it as purely canon, i dont see anything in the game that could contradict any previous lore in the slightest
Given it was officially released by Sega, I don't think not being developed by Sonic Team is gonna stop it from being canon, especially given no contradictories here to be found. I mean, the Advance and Rush series are both canon, made by Dimps.
Cant believe they would be keeping your temperature constant. I cant believe the sonic group insulated you.
This game is like Danganronpa, but kid friendly, and with Sonic characters. We even have Tails giving us the “Tell them Naegi” routine, when he knows the evidence.
Heck, they just deadass hit Espio with Makoto's "The killer is... YOU!" at the end.
A murder of a hedgehog
ON MY OWL EXPRESSSSSSSSS
“And dropped the body off at the dining car” BRO WAS CARRING SONIC’S “DEAD” BODY!! I love it 💞
Sonic 06, Forces, and now "The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog."
You know what they say... Third time's the charm
I forgot about Adventure 2 killing Sonic for a brief moment
Same with Frontiers, Sonic got temporarily killed in that too.
@@HuskyPackof3 twice.
I'm serious, he literally fucking stopped breathing after the fight with Giganto
Don't forget that Sonic _should've been Dead_ when Eggman dropped him from Space in *Sonic Unleashed!*
I love Shadow's character arc in this.
Blaze finally returned, that's enough to intrigue me.
is it just me or Shadow looks like he works at starbucks
Bro I thought this was an April Fools game why am I crying at the end???
Sega always pulling the rug under us and releasing some interesting surprises. None the less this April 1st joke of a game is fantastic I definitely got some Ace Attorney and Danganronpa vibes here 😄.
