@@thomasgorman6513the assigned points for hitting the target at the optimal section (commonly high center chest or head box). Think of it like a Dart board but also under timing. Someone else will probably break it down better 😅
Scored. Like a grade. Points in a game, high score is a like grade school. Highest score wins.. All competitive shooting had some scheme for scoring (minus points for miss, hits in bullseye/ zone is higher than edges of target) Makes it fun, and another want to compete/discrimination of 'who won' if two people shot same times
In this video, they were scoring the competitive runs with “Hit Factor” which is the number of points divided by the amount of time. An A-zone hit is worth 5 points, a C-zone hit is worth 3 points and a D-zone is usually worth 1 point (sometimes people will give 0 points for hits in the D-zone). If you don’t know what the scoring zones are, do a Google search for “USPSA target” and you’ll find plenty of pictures. So, if you run a drill that is shoot 5 rounds, reload, shoot 5 more rounds and it takes you 10 seconds. When you score the target you have 6 As, 3Cs, and 1 D, that’s 40 points (6x5 + 3x3 + 1x1). You then divide your total points by your total time for a Hit Factor of 4 (40/10). This gives you a quantifiable metric to use to compare yourself to others and to yourself as you improve. That which can be measured can be improved. If you don’t know your times and scores for drills, then you have no way of knowing if you’re actually getting better. Lucas put up several very good comprehensive Courses of Fire on the TRex Arms website under the training section. You can use these to determine your current level of skill with rifle and/or pistol. In order to improve with both types of weapons, I’d strongly recommend you check out videos by Ben Stoeger & Matt Pranka (aka XRay Alpha) Not only do they have tons of free videos about drills, but Ben also posts 90+ minute free videos on RUclips from his training classes. Sling shooting fucking sucks.
Love this content, i hope one day i can get out there with yall one day, gonna try some of these next weekend
I was hoping y'all were coming out with a split rig. Hope you share why you choose not to. Best shooting, as always!
Seemed like a realization that they'll still get smoked by cheap stuff.
Really appreciated the ascetics of these rifles.
Decent try.
Bro said Luchadors like he knew exactly what he was talking about.
Thank you for making this video I really appreciate it thank you T Rex Arms .I have been thinking about buying a new firearm and I love the M4 a1 rifle thank you i can't wait to train with you cool guys you rock keep up the great work .
“Mine are already zero’d”
“How do you know that?”

🤣

Man I wanna feel what shooting a gun is like now, makes me want to try it out seeing yall just tearing at it
They put on vest like they are going to war, Cool😎
The show must go on
Sensacional!
Treino eficiente!
M4A1 is My Go 2, I have 2, because 2 is 1, and 1 is none.
PSAs are not M4s 😂
They level of geeks on gun channels.
@@assclapper2231 Yes you are
@@out_of_headspace You must be confused, PSA does not make the M4A1

You thought we’d miss Brandon’s half of a cold start lol!
I thought we we're getting less videos.. I've seen moar! videos in the past couple weeks than the past couple months. i won't complain. "Roll that beautiful bean footage!"
I like to play it on 2x sounds like freedom
Eu queria saber onde encontro esse aplicador de fita que utilizaram para cobrir os furos nos alvos... 😅
m4 a1 uppers with the socom profile barrel are awesome. the kac rails with panels and a vfg insulate heat way better than thin free float mlok handguards.
Excelente evento veo una buena participación de los tiradores espero verlo más en el futuro gracias 😊
Plenty of bullets 556 I wish I could have that kind of ammunition
Fantastic, really enjoyed 😊
good day sir what meters will you do that drill using barricade? I'm monzky watching from philippines
Another great video!!!
There is a dude like Garret, A.K.A. Jim Hopper in every group. Its just one man's opinion, but he needs to stop telling everyone he is a SME and just work on his craft. No doubt he drinks his own bath water at least 5 days a week. Heads up. Trusting that dude will one day cost you. Other than my rant about the tool in the group, I would like to say y'all put in some good work. Thanks for sharing.
I think you mean, there’s always a funny guy. Garret is definitely funnier than all of us. But he can also shoot pistol better than most in the group. He’s an M class USPSA shooter and firearms instructor. If he were as useless as you think he is, he wouldn’t be in our group training with us. But, you haven’t met him. I’ve known him for six years. -Lucas
No sir. I didn't mean funny. I guess how funny someone is would be subjective. That being said thinking you are funny and being funny are two different things.
Also, I never said he is useless. I don't know the guy, but I can observe is actions. And actions, unlike words never lie. The fact that he can shoot pistol better than most in the group means exactly that. It has nothing to do with his character. Being an M class shooter means nothing other than he is an M class shooter. Being a firearms instructor is nothing special as well. There are many of them out there.
Just been my experience, SME's dont have to tell everyone they are. It will be known by their capabilities and his capabilities with a rifle are not impressive.
I mean no disrespect to you, and I appreciate all you do. Rock on brother. @@TREXARMS
Every person that has a gun fantasy loves M4A1 I'm one of those persons
Yup. Same. I eventually broke down and emptied the piggy bank and built one.
Just went looking for ris/ras kac handguard for my surplus M4 upper. They are not as expensive as I thought, but lots of advertising on sites with zero in stock 😐
@@warrenharrison9490 yeah I only needed one but bought two when I could find them, just in case.
(The KAC quad)
@@warrenharrison9490 Brownells has counterfeit carbine length RAS rails in stock. There's also a couple places that have a bunch of salty used ones, but they're gunjokers i know what i got priced.
@@f308gtb1977now the question is block 1 or 2?
I think one set without any red dot would be a good be a good way to finish off the drill and score it double hit factor.
