This video was exactly what I was looking for. My dash hatch light doing exactly what he described. I removed my hatch panel, sprayed electric cleaner on the connectors, cleaned them with a toothbrush and let it dry. Then put dielectric silicone grease on the connectors. No more alarm going off at all hours of the day and night 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👏👏👏
Thank you for your video sr we just got crazy rain in dallas for 2 days and my car start to do exactly the same thing so today I remove the hatch and yeap the connector to the latch and the latch have corrosion I cleaned both put the grease and it work just waiting for the next rain to see if it work
Thanks for your feedback. You don't need the diagnostic tool as you first carryout visual, mechanical tests using the internal light and indication on the dashboard to diagnose and fix the problem without the cost!
I would start with the fuse (F22 I believe) in the fuse box inside the car under the dash. It could be the fuse socket contacts; try removing the fuse (check it if you can) and reinserting the fuse to see if that fixes the issue. Anything more, ask your local dealer.
If I understand you correctly then there may be an issue with the alarm's siren. Note that the alarm will not function correctly if the vehicle battery is weak or flat.

Very Basic.Really you need a diagnostic tool to interrogate the convenience unit 46 and look at the last 4 alarm triggers.
Thanks for your feedback.

Hello. can you help me how to turn on my alarm in my Tiguan SUV 4x4 2013 diesel 2 liter

Wheres the alarm located in the fuse box I want to take the fuse out
Best search online for VW Beetle alarm fuse location.
Very common on Ferrari cars too.
I knew the Beetle is related to the Porsche 911, but didn't know it was related to the Ferrari as well. The wife will be pleased.
My outside of car alarm doesn't make sound but alarm is on when open the door
