sweet and sour?? is this, auschwitz??
No simple syrup needed. Excellent.
I'm loving these shorts, Leandro. Much as I have enjoyed full episodes over the past few years, sometimes these quick-hitters pack a lot of info in a short time period when I don't have time to give to a full video. Great job!
One of my favorite cocktails.
My favorite is combining tommys with the classic, half ounce of triple sec, 3/4 lime, 1.5 tequila and 1/4 or 1/2 oz of agave nectar depending on how sweet i want it
Same, but with 2/1 tequila and lime
Did you know that Margarita is Daisy in spanish?
I'm assuming this is the same thing that happen with "La ultima Palabra" which is the spanish translation of "the last word" a tequila variation
I’m from Mexico and I never knew that. Margarita has been used with the drink around me I never knew what that word mean, other than the cocktail
oh interesting. daisy is the family of cocktail that a margarita fall into and is the classic example of one.
I added 3/4 2-1 simple syrup and this was instant 🔥🔥🔥
Dying for one right now.
Yes
Boozy, bright and tart sound fabulous!! Thanks Leondro!! :-)
This is the way I make mine for a long time and I normally have lots of likes on this drink.
I make these every time i buy asada tacos from my favorite local vendor.
Wait, clean editing and concise bartending tips? What did you do to Marius?
What happened to you adding the agave ?!
Hi Leandro, when do we put salt rim or not, or is it not a must to do so?
Personally I think a salted rim is a little too much salt, although some people love it. I like to put a pinch of salt directly into the cocktail to make the flavors pop.
Or 5 drops of a 20% saline solution will also do the trick
Either I'd add a dash of brine to the cocktail before I shake or I only salt half of the glass rim. Not everyone wants a salted glass rim. Of course, if you're using a really good quality ingredients, you won't need any salt.
I like to run the lime across the rim of the glass and take a pinch of flaky sea salt and gently coat the rim. Less aggressive than a full coating and it gives you that pop that you are looking for.
You began by saying "the classic margarita is based," and that sums it up.
just made my first margarita following the recipe (admittedly with a way cheaper tequila) I like it, but the lack of complex flavors in this tequila makes it taste like a very tart alcoholic orange juice.
Find Arette Tequila or Espolon Tequila, sippable Tequilas that are not expensive and fantastic mixers
@@ericktellez7632 1800 isn’t bad for the price either.
Never go cheap on the tequila. Try a reposado if you're looking for more depth. I use Simply brand limeade as a mixer.. It's already sweetened so you can skip the orange liqueur altogether. Honestly, that and good tequila make a very fine drink. Invest in some bitters. 1821 Japanese chili & lime or Difford's Margarita bitters. Cheers!
Were you making fun of Steve the bartenders shake??😂
You didn't want the salt on your glass rim??
Bro like chuky he cool tho lol
Wouldn't salt cut that tartness?
Yeah it does a little
Didnt salt the glass tho
They are better if you make it with mezcal and grand Marnier instead of tequila and Cointreau
Shorts are lame!
That shake face was awful dude 😂
