Only if your oil level is at the top. If you are a quart low you are good to go.
My car requires 5 30 oil. Because of the thickness of the Lucas product could this damage the engine?
It shouldn’t. I’ve used this on vehicles requiring 5-w20, 5-w30, 10-w30. It’s the thickness of this that makes it effective.
Hey guys tell me , I put 2 quarts oil in after oil light came on and off , noticed after I had a huge puddle of oil , I noticed a leak underneath ,by the time I drove home 10 minutes , shut car off immediately, looked under car and seen small drips of oil ,checked oil and no oil , so my car was shut off but no oil in car , what should I do guys ? This is obviously a huge leak ,I won’t dare to even start the car with no oil of course, but do you think this would work ? help please guys
Thanks for the honest review! Im going to try it on my smart car. I get a drop every few days. I guess I can start adding it now before it gets worse.
A drop ever few days should be corrected by this
If you had dropped the oil pan and replace the old gasket with a new one you had solve the problem, save some money and time. Great attempt but we all know that any fluid leaking will not be fixed by adding any additives.
Will that thick additive hurt the values?
I don’t think so, I’ve never heard of it doing so
@@PhillipsVision My question is, when you change the oil do you fill the oil to it's capacity (my Ford fuckus takes 4.5 quarts) then add the stop leak? Or do you only add 3.5 quarts of new oil and 1 quart of the stop leak? Thank You!
@@MeatMachine212 I usually add the stop leak, or any additives first then top off the oil
@@PhillipsVision thanks
I want add it to my 04 Civic but my car uses 5W 20 oil,,isn't Lucas to thick or it doesnt matter the viscosity of the oil??????
You can mix it. I’ve added it to vehicles that take 5w 20 with no problem, just don’t add more quarts than the recommendation.
@@PhillipsVision ok thank you
It work for any car?
It should...yes
Awesome product for rear gears, but leak stops are a joke. Only way you’re gonna stop is a leak is to change oring or gasket. Then. As an insurance use an Ultra Grey gasket maker to assist in helping the reseal. These band aid promises are a joke. They don’t truly “fix” anything.
Was that a legit Lamborghini Countach?
No, it’s a replica
is the oil pan bolts tighten well enough or timing chain bolts and bottom seal lets fix the leak.
This is off topic but what grade gas you put in your trailblazer
Just the standard... 87 octane
@@PhillipsVision ok thanks
I have a 2005 bmw leaking oil. Do you think it would be safe to use in it?
I don’t see why not
I rather replace the oil pan gasket.
That's will be very pricey
Heellloo, I have an Audi A6 avant tfsi with oil problem, can anyone help me out what to do and what to use? I am not so in to cars but if want to get rid of it, I must pay 4K to the garage for reparation.
Hey how is the car now?
Doing good. Still a couple drops, but levels are not low as prior to use
Is that safe for air cooled motorcycles?
Not sure, you may want to check with Lucas
Looks like your leak is a bit too big for an additive.
Mechanical fix nessesery. But cool slot machines.
stop leak no way jose it won't Bar's dual works better BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL AMEN
