I’ve had bikes with both fairings. Both are great bikes. For me the Road Glide is best for Interstate and highway use. Street Glide was better for city driving. That’s only my opinion.
Just picked up mine in the Snake Venom chrome on Thursday.

I’m 5’ 8 an it’s no big deal about reaching the screen , I don’t have that problem so don’t listen to those people that says that. Just look at the roadglide how mean it looks it makes the street glide look small. Roadglide hands down 👍👍
I just purchased a 21 rd gd special, i traded in my 2011 Electra Glide i love the rd gd, but, I’ve had 2 different bat wing fairing bikes now and for me the bat wing fairing does a better job hands down on blocking the wind at 80 90 mph on hwy. i put the H D tall w/s on my new rd gd and it’s better now. I even tried the clockwerks 14 inch it was better then stock but still didn’t compare to the bat wing, guess it’s because the rd gd fairing is so far out away from the rider. But overall im happy with my new rd gd, love the smooth power transfer of the 114 but, I can’t believe HD put such a garbage sound system on a so called special, definitely got to upgrade the speakers. My stock 2011 Electra glide stereo sounds 10 times better then the new bike with just the front speakers on even. Yes im here outside of Chattanooga Tennessee and it took me 2 months to get a blacked out 21 rd gd special and every dealer i checked with was calling it the Unicorn bike back in April and May, I finally got one at the end of June from Bumpus HD in Murphysboro Tenn

love my 21 RGS in Midnight Crimson all blacked out. I am 6'4 and could not stand the street glide. Anyway, Put Tab Performance Zombie baffled slip-ons with stage 1. What a freaking difference over stock. Also bought the 131ci kit, just waiting on that to come in. Custom Dynamics LED are also 100 times better than stock LED. Ohlins 13" shocks in rear, 30mm cartridge kit for the forks. 320mm Break rotors and Brembo Calipers from Big Bear Performance. Bike is coming along.
Oh and flush mount fuel cap makes it look so clean over the stock fuel cap. Got some sick 16" meathook Apehangers to install when my dealership can get a dang clutch cable in. Been 3 months. Good Grief.

When your in a corner, your handlebars don’t turn no matter fixed or batwing.
Both steering and counter steering are a myth? I know what you mean though, a handlebar fairing doesn't shine around corners anyway.
Tire pressure for both ?
One thing I hate about the Harleys are thats they're small and they're built for short people. This on the other hand is big enough for me. I'm 6'4 and when I sat on it it was comfortable. I don't want to get rid of my 98 fatboy gonna keep that but I save up for one of these. Get the 14 inch gorilla apes for this too.

Harley Davidson had came a long way since 2014 but one fact is there demon tho. The engines are overly labor intensive and hot. HD have been using 1959’s/1960’s technology like the huge primary chain rotating in oil and rocker arms to name a few. I have had a 96 and 107 M8 and put plenty of miles on both.
My wife’s 2016 Honda Goldwing is butter smooth with full counter balancing, full liquid cooling and the best I like is the single oil fill and single oil draining. I love taking it on road trips from time to time. Harley really needs to find a better way to cool them motors down, I am keeping my Harley for now until I purchase again.
Thats why so many Harley riders are switching to Indian, and never looking back. Indian makes a much superior motorcycle compared to Harley
