I have been riding for over 20 years. Mainly, Metric bikes. This year I took the plunge and bought my first Harley. I bought the '21 Road Glide Special. I absolutely love this bike! I have the Billard Teal with Chrome.

You can't beat adding a Klock Werks dark black sport windshield (they show you how to measure on their site and they are bang on). Looks so sleek and actually ADDS to the bike. You still look over the glass, but the "flip" pushes the air over you. I added mine to my '19 RGS after one day with the stock piece.
Keep the videos coming! Love 'em, but definitely get a higher vantage point for your GoPro so I can see past your dash.

Test rode my first RGS today, and a SGS. But the RGS was the winner in my book. It’s my first heavy bike, I own a 2018 fat boy, and love riding it, but I want to take longer trips. So I figured it’s time to step up a notch or two.
Thanks as always for the reviews and great info.

That customer-owned 2020 with the sweet paint job was super cool too. Just wanted to give my enthusiastic thanks for a thorough look at this great bike. Lots of fun going for a ride with you too. What a bike what ride. Just bought the 21 road glide special snake venom. The color is so cool. For a short women who was wanting to see if I could ride bagger this bike even stock I can ride. Ordered a lowering kit and seat for a short person. Think Harley has done well designing a bagger shorter women can ride. I also own a 06 deluxe, 20 street bob, and 21 low rider s. Just love my Harleys

On the cable clutch theory, I keep hearing you get a better feel. It’s been a few years since I’ve ridden one with a cable clutch, but I thought my hydraulic clutches have worked great.

I have a 18 RG FLTRX in black denim, I changed out the engine guard to the smaller one, looks better imo, they should have left the gas tank alone, don't care for that look,as for the clutch I did have issues with oil transfer, never bothered going to the dealership about it, found out about the fatrod on a forum and installed it myself and no more problems,as for the stock windshield it looks nice but completely useless once you're moving, and last but not least the sharknose fairing allows more airflow than the batwing no doubt but I bought the RG because everyone and their friends have a batwing, now it seems like the RG's popularity has increased in the last few years, anyway just my two cents, good review 👍

  • @linhnha1339

The gas cap shape on the left side of the tank on fatboy, Road king or other bikes is not a dummy object only for symmetry reason as you stated. It’s is a functional fuel gauge!!!

Take a night rod special for a ride. If you haven’t ridden bikes for long the night rod Is a nice fast bike which isn’t too heavy. But hey I’ve had mine for 3 years and am selling it to get the 2020 street glide special - all blacked out . Dynas are nice too. Depends on what style of riding you want. Hell I’d have em all if I could

One thing I disagree with is that plugging in the phone is much better than Bluetooth because plugging it in launches Android Auto or Apple Car Play and pretty much projects your whole phone on the screen. Compared to just connecting calls and audio with Bluetooth.

The bike looks great, very comfortable and there isn't a lot I'd change if anything just for the sake of it. I steer away from black paint as it tends to show dust and scratches too easily.

It's the same motorcycle in different paint that they've been building for the last 10 years. Harley-Davidson is so far behind every other motorcycle in the world that they are never going to catch up. They refuse to believe even though the numbers tell them that they have lost their market share.
