Yeah, they were hinting, but you also thought maybe it was just another dirty tool he was using, once they showed the whip it should have clicked, but I think many assumed it was to battle multiple people.
Qimir was a good antagonist. If they decide to make season 2, they should just put the twins in the background (or even get rid of them) and focus on him and Vernestra trying to find him. And show his backstory. Obviously we know he can't survive in the end but it would at least make for a decent story.
Absolutely…the twins story should be considered complete. They could maybe mention them in the next season just briefly to explain how they died or disappeared. I couldn’t care less. But that season needs to be put in the past and moved on from so they can tell the stories that people want to hear. Maybe a time jump where you only see Qimir get killled and the rest of the season is about Tenebrous and Plaguies and maybe even Plagueis and Palpatine meeting in the early years. Those are the stories that should be told if you want to talk about pre-Phantom Menace stuff. This last season should just be treated as a one-off. A very long yet insignificant part of the whole Star Wars story. That’s just my opinion…sorry for chirping your ear off. 😂
@@stop736 The main two good parts about season 1 were Qimir and action scenes. And they established his connection with Vernestra. We have some potential there. Yeah. The most annoying part of season 1 is that there WAS potential with Qimir there. He should've been THE acolyte and the show should've focused on his backstory, his rise as Sith apprentice and him trying to find a way to kill his master (then they could put the twins for one episode, show a short version of their story and make them some unimportant, secondary characters - at best) on top of Vernestra trying to hunt him down. It's frustrating how they created a genuinely good antagonist but did next to nothing with him. If season 2 is focused entirely on Qimir, I'm all for it.

the best thing they could do is a 2nd season not written and not directed by Lesely Headland, to repair this shit they put themselves into. Let's just go forwards in time for some years, one of the things could be Qimir vs Vernestra where Qimir kills Vernestra so no one could find out about her lies in the end. Then let Qimir live as Plagueis pupil until Plagueis finds Palpatine and starts training him, in which Plagueis sees so much potential he wants to find out if Palpatine could take down Qimir and that´s when he dies - killed by Sidious. That could be a great story! Let George Lucas continue this story as a consult and get rid of Kathleen Kennedy.
If the Mae & Osha actress is confirmed to be fired, then the beginning of Season 2 could start with Plagueis dissecting Osha and Mae’s corpses for his midichlorian experiments to Qimir’s horror. Vernestra is injured but still hunting Qimir.
I think we need an Acolyte Season 2. Originally, I was happy to just let it be a one-off, and let it be a fun high republic story. For those of us, who saw through the Acolyte 'hate' based on impatience to tell a story, or the simple act of enjoying the reveal, the ending was well deserved. The Two parts related Vernestra was that she sensed her padawan and said 'You?! You're alive?' to Qimir.. Wondering what their last encounter was now. Also did Jacki put Qimir as such a disadvantage, that he had to use his Shodo weapon? She was very aggressive and Qimir was struggling to keep pace.. @@stevenhorstgeorg5728 Osha had the vision of Mae killing Sol, but Osha was the one who ended up doing it. So Qimir didn't know what was going to happen. He wasn't losing intentionally
@@christopheraramaki304 ??? Osha telled this vision to him and he of course wanted to use that to get the twins into the dark side.
Do you think he knew of this vision but was like "Ahhh no, i kill him myself" that would make no sense espeacially if you know that it was Mae´s Mission she got from him and he yet knew she could finish it. That Osha did it in the end was just a nice surprise for him.
He wouldnt be that chill after getting his lightsaber destroyed if he would not know that situation is fine for him.
@@christopheraramaki304 So you are saying that Qimir ignored the vision of Osha...just... because? Then we could just have him know where Mae was instead of Osha having a Vision
@@stevenhorstgeorg5728 you're not making any sense. Osha told Qimir of her vision and that she was going to confront Mae to stop her from killing Sol. Qimir didn't want her to go at first and tried to sway her from going by telling her that was the future. Osha told him the future wasn't set. Qimir goes with her because he wants at least 1 of the twins to voluntarily join him. If Osha stops Mae from killing Sol then he needs to do it himself
Here is a question besides darth plagues. Was any other muun a jedi at all
I want a second season but I hope they really learn from their mistakes form this show. The Acolyte is not that bad it just need better writing and more respect for deeper lore
They did it so they can sell more toys
if this dude is a Sith then Im Batman 🎉
How is the whip unpredictable? It should be very predictable, the whip will always follow the motion of the hand and because the blade is not solid it will be a delay After the movement of the hand before it hits its target
Just because they adapted a well-known piece of EU content into their vastly inferior HR era, doesn't make them fans. It just means Hidalgo took a minute from huffing his own flatulence after slaying bags of Cheetos to mention Luke going against a light whip wielder and them thinking "Hurr durr, fan service but role reversal".
I hate the thick grip sabers in this. Also, since when did cortosis act like Magneto's helmet?
🎉
Didn't luke do this to fight lumiya
So what form do you think he uses? Jar'Kai Juyo? Djem So?
Based on how he fought in the show it looks like he specializes in Juyo, but utilizes a Jar'Kai variant with his shoto saber as a trump card to catch people off guard.
No more Acolyte please .
