Thank you! I've been puzzling for over a week on how to take the curve off of an object and transfer it to something I need to cut and you solved it in 10 seconds for me.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH! 😀
You just gave me the missing part of a puzzle that's been driving me crazy forever!
Our crappy fridge froze lettuce no matter what we did until I stumbled onto a post where someone solved the problem by lining drawers with pink insulation board. That works perfectly, but our drawers have weird curves so we built a foam board box after failing SO many times to cut the right shapes to fully line the drawers. Now I know how to copy the shape & we'll reclaim the shelf space currently occupied by our pink lettuce box.

Cover the bowl in cling wrap, sit on a flat surface, put the carboard directly behind it at 90 segrees and spray some cheap £1 spraypaint to cast a perfect shape of the object to the cardboard? Just a thought....

Excellent video, I’m cutting 3/8 plywood for the bed of my truck and need to cut out for wheel wells. Your video gave me the idea to use #12 copper conductor wire to get the shape very close. Thank you friend.

This was an excellent video showing exactly the process I was hoping for. Not to tedious but offers a much better end result than what I had come up with. Great work!

I do a similar thing with aluminum and copper wire depending on what I'm tracing. Good idea I'm going to try this when i get something with alot of details.
