Inspired by the television series and the feature film, S.W.A.T. stars Shemar Moore as a locally born and raised S.W.A.T. sergeant newly tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Torn between loyalty to where he was raised and allegiance to his brothers in blue, former Marine Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson has everything it takes to be an excellent leader and bridge the divide between his two worlds. Hondo's elite unit includes David "Deacon" Kay, an experienced S.W.A.T. officer who always puts the team first, despite feeling overlooked for the lead job; Jim Street, a cocky but promising new member of the group; Christina "Chris" Alonso, a skilled officer and the team's canine trainer; and Dominique Luca, an expert driver who gets them in and out of high-risk situations. Overseeing the unit is Jessica Cortez, the captain of L.A. Metro who values her job above all else, including her off-the-books relations with Hondo. Hondo's team enjoys an intense rivalry with another L.A.-based unit led by Mumford, an aggressive leader who likes to do things his way. With Hondo leading the charge, these dedicated men and women bravely put themselves at risk to protect their community and save lives. This series is based on the series S.W.A.T. which was created by Robert Hamner and developed by Rick Husky. It was developed by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan.

I find it appropriate that a guy named “Deacon” ended up being Chris’ guardian angel.
Just started watching so It took me a minute to realize deacon isn’t his real last name and they call him that because he’s catholic
It's even more appropriate if you take into consideration that Deac and his entire family tree are / were dedicated christians and Chris is not only a female (basically soldier) she is also throughout the show involved in both lesbian and polyamorous relationship.

@@melonheadgaming4254because they had voice their opinions on her situation. He made very clear he wasn’t with it. But this scene happens and you see a shift. (Still doesn’t agree but is less against her if that makes sense). Definitely watch to understand it a bit more.
It’s just a shame she left the show 😟she was one of the best characters

When they have a high value target, or it they are investing someone and it shows that someone is in danger, but usually they put the people in WitSec to ensure they are out of easy danger.

I have to say I think Biological agents scare me so much. They act quickly on the body and you only have a split second to take action and honestly if this country hadn't learnt enough when Novichok was used in Salisbury well then we have to be careful around these type of agents. This scene is all so inaccurate. VX is the kind of nerve agent that is the deadliest of all. It's the kind of thing that one wished they could Dis- invent. Second in treatment of someone who is exposed to this type of nerve agent, requires a two-shot injection. One is to increase the heart rate and the other is to stabilize the heart rate after the first initial injection. But hey, what do I know. Just someone who has served 20 plus years in the military!
I'm wondering why everyone in the area wasn't affected to some degree. VX is a gas. It's highly unlikely to impossible that she would inhale all of it. With everyone else standing around, they're all risking exposure, especially Derek Morgan who spends a bunch of exactly where the VX was released.
