Thanks for all the great video's. I'm a newley retired 60 year old that started my self employed career car valeting some 40 years ago and watching your video's really takes me back. I have been binge watching for the last week 😄 ... Now retired I can re kindle my love of cleaning my own cars for enjoyment ! ... The quality of the content you are producing is first class and shows you are someone who takes great care and effort in what you do and that also shows in your business. Good luck in your new workshop build and for the future. I look forward to seeing the progress.

I used a version of the max shine tool a couple weeks ago in a toyota rav 4, it got the hair from a white German shepherd out the carpets easily especially if you spray a little bit of soapy water onto the carpets first.

All of these tools are brilliant and do work I regularly use all of them when detailing vehicles but a big tip is to get the area wet before you remove the hair it helps massively. A tool that’s also works that most people will have at home is a razor blade it takes a-lot more effort due to the size of the blade but it will work just be careful when working next the surfaces that can be scratched easily (leather or plastic surfaces) you won’t damage the Upholstery as long as you keep the blade horizontal apply light pressure to pull the hair out of the carpets you should get decent results but it is possible to damage the carpets if you force the blade to hard or use it at the wrong angle but that’s common sense. One thing I have learnt working as a detailer is if the customer has mistreated the vehicle it might not always be possible to achieve perfection . If you have tried everything above and it is still looks dirty last resort is to use carpet die if you can’t find die use black spray paint it works a treat these methods are last resort and will not last forever. I hope this info helps somebody. I know from experience dog hair is one of the worst things to remove in a vehicle i hate detailing vehicles with dog hair people don’t realise how much time it takes intill they have ago themselves the amount of customers I get argue about extra costs due to dog hair is ridiculous but you will work at a loss if you don’t charge for the time it takes to remove it.

I was thinking of starting mobile valeting for over a year now.
I love cars, love to watch them, clean them, know things about them. I do my Oil/brake Change and some minor jobs myself.
The only thing is that there are some bigger companies that are on the market for a long time.
I'm from a small twon in Oxfordshire and don't think I can comepete with the other car detailers.
