Dallas Court in Salford, Greater Manchester is one of 14 reporting centres in Britain where asylum seekers, foreign criminals and those caught working illegally come to make weekly reports. This is to show the Home Office they are following the instructions given to them while their paperwork and legal status is processed. A man arrives thinking he’s making his routine weekly report, but he is about to be arrested and sent back to Nigeria. He’s a convicted sex offender who has served his sentence, but one of the conditions was that he is eventually deported to his homeland. What he doesn’t realise is that this will happen today. He is later taken to a detention centre at Heathrow and put on a plane to Lagos with 5 burly minders escorting him all the way. In 2007 over 4200 foreign national criminals were deported in this manner.

IO Neil Newbury picks up a student returning from a trip to Pakistan for a hair transplant. Trouble is he can’t give any precise details about his college. He tells Neil about his daily journey from his home in Hounslow to his college at London Bridge. He says he gets a direct train. No such journey exists. He’s eventually refused.
Enforcement - Raid in Manchester Restaurants
The Manchester Enforcement team believes there are illegal workers working at a number of restaurants in Rochdale. There first visit they don’t find any, but they do accidentally smash an expensive glass table. The next raid is more successful as they find 2 illegal immigrants and they are subsequently removed, to Pakistan.
Enforcement - Raid on Birmingham Sweet Centre
An enforcement team in the Midlands has intelligence that a “sweet centre” which is a bit like a cake shop is employing illegal workers. They find 4 illegal workers, and they also find one very unlucky customer who is also an illegal immigrant. One of the workers has his family here and on release, on immigration bail, he is asked to report to his local reporting centre. Unusually, he does make his weekly reports.

Barbara Vance you are right. Here in Australia even the driving test is in foreign languages for them. Once they get licence then they cant read the road signs and if and when they get pulled up by police for traffic offence they have no idea what is being said to them.

Having seen at least 7 episodes, there's a trend emerging, the TACTICAL strategy of apprehending illegal immigrants appears to be sound, but the RESOLUTION of the cases appeared to be greatly flawed. There is an ENORMOUS AMOUNT of time spent on investigating and arresting suspects, but eventually most are let go pending some sort of judicial appeal or proceeding. Most suspects do not return for their court date or to check in with the UK governmental authorities once they are let go. So all this effort put into enforcement is really a waste of time if there is no judicial follow through to get them removed from the country. It just becomes a revolving door. I also find that if illegals are able to hide their passports well enough and not have it found by enforcement officers, they basically get released back into the general population. There are too many illegals for them to process if they don't have a passport at hand. So, that appears to be the key factor of whether a suspect gets deported or gets to stay by default. Clearly if someone gets caught, they refuse to say a single word and the enforcement officers does not have their passport, then it's basically game over, there's nothing else the officers can do, but to release the suspect back out in the streets within a short time. Clearly the immigration system is broken in the UK, however, the US enforcement of illegal immigration appears to be even worst....

Also the strange part of the regulations is when illegals get caught working, they are told they no longer can work anymore, but yet they are required to frequently check in with the government at certain locations. So basically, you can't work, you have no food and no money to support yourself and yet you are required to find a way to get yourself to reporting center. The 33 pounds a week they give is so small, it's not an incentive for many to check in. So, it's illegal for them the earn a living and it's obviously illegal for them to steal to support themselves, so basically if you don't deport illegals immediately, they will do one of these two things to survive in the meantime. These bureaucratic rules make no sense.

Real simple way to notify a law-abiding truck driver if the cord is cut (36 min mark): Add a thin-gauge wire that sends an alert/alarm when cut, and make it difficult, if not impossible, to repair without special tools and notifying the driver and company (i.e., the alarm stays on until both driver and remote company representative have signaled "okay"; the alarm would be visible to anyone looking into the cabin or, perhaps, on top/outside of the cabin). That's the thing about lying. You get so caught up in trying to lie that you forget about your previous lies. You end up with having to remember so many lies that you can't keep your story straight. Use tamper proof seals at every stop and securing the yards where the loads are delivered would be a good start in stopping a lot of this from happening. Don't allow vagrants with in a kilometer from docks using secured checkpoints in and out. Penalize the drivers for not following these rules and make that penalty increase everytime they don't secure the loads, reward drivers who uphold the good standards by increasing their pay for keeping the port of entry safe. The monies saved on securing the system will compensate for paying the drivers higher wages. Does this make any sense?

I got a question: I am from Canada and I kn ow we do not have to ID ourselfs unless we have ben arrested or have committed a ticket-able offence (like jay walking or driving without a seat beat). How can they go in and demand ID from everyone before the arrest?

Regular citizens do not have to show ID or carry it.
Foreign Nationals on work, student, tourist, or other temporary visas are required to carry their identification and provide it at all times.

Even if you only go to your campus let's say 2x a week, you should be able to say right away your stops because how would you know if you're getting off the correct one. If he was going to use this lie, he should've gathered more information about his commute and about his college.
