I have a s63 it shoots absolute beams but I'm still drawn to the Dye ULS barrel, i have zero reason to buy a barrel but i just can't see myself without it , that's Paintball i guess, you always " need " something 🙃
do you think the ul tip is quieter than the uls tip? the small ports in the back of the uls tip might make it sound louder to the shooter but quieter on the receiving end (opposing player)
When I shot it the sound signature is definitely different and imo “quieter”, even for the shooter. That’s how it seemed to me when I shot it. But what you’re saying makes complete sense and probably why Dye designed it that way.
The UL-i isn’t replacing the UL-S, it’s just another option. Honestly, the UL-i is the cheaper alternative, like all barrels that use inserts. I still prefer standard, 2-piece barrels.
No I haven’t, but I’ve code samples and complete destroyed a MacDev GTs feed next before when I core sampled 😂 at Millennium Bitburg in 2014. Face hit the tank, then hopper, and sheered the feedneck right off. Barrel was fine though but had mud in it all the way up to the barrel back 😅.
Great video! Love the UL Barrels! Great fact I learned about unmarked dye backs! Thanks for the nugget good sir 🔥
Thank you my friend! I appreciate it!

Little late now there's the UL-i

have you ever core sampled the ground and broke a barrel?
