Thank you so much for the tutorial, the speed of the narrator is good and the tutorial itself is pure gold. Finally I understand how output templates work.
Is that Emiel Sleegers I hear? Another great tutorial as always. The man never disappoints.
great explanation. Thank you for that. It really helped me to understand the topic.
awww... where is Wes McDermott??
good explination none the less :)
Very well done! Thank you
Any chance you could make a tutorial how to export current work without opening export menu, exporting a and then closing that menu? it is 21st century and Painter (despite all its capabilities) behaves on export like something from Reagan era.
How do you share these export settings with another team member?
great tutorial !
Imagine...Hitting export textures and all the maps you on have your current project are exported with out having to mess with any presets at all....wouldn't that be something.
I Need to make custom Presets on my material; Is there a video for this? In your Library you have 12 human skin materials. If I made you these human skins for example, How would I make only one material with 12 presets in a drop down menu for you to choose from?
When creating the output name for the different maps. Is there a way to remove part of the name when using the $ Keywords?
Like for instance when I export my mesh I call it "Crystal_Mesh" instead of just "Crystal". And the same goes for the textureSet I call it "Crystal_Shd".
Is there a way to split the name at the underscore? Or will the final name just be "Crystal_Mesh_BaseColor" so I manually have to fix when exporting?
What improvements can we expect from the Painter team for the rest of the year? Will you finally add skew correction to your baker, or allow us to drop spline strokes?
Did you see the new information about Warp projection? Very powerful new feature released yesterday.
@@PiNPOiNT2K yeah. Just saw AskNK’s video about it. Pretty cool.
skew correction q_q for sure!, how is this still not in Painter like wow!
Wes McDermott is not here. WHY? Wes were one of the reasons I continue the subscription
Wes is still here, but we produce a lot of content, so we are adding multiple speakers. Human cloning is still prohibited by law, and we just have one Wes and cool people like Emiel in this video ;-)
This tutorial I feel is a bit fast paced for me. Is there a more basic or slower version? Or can you suggest other reading on this topic?
I'd recommend reading the docs on the subject. Also keep in mind, to do simple, basic exporting you don't need to create custom templates like this video is showing. Just use the pre-existing output templates.
@@Substance3D im struggling to figure out which one to use. Im reaching out for help b4 I spend a lot of time unnecessarily. Thanks for responding. U guess i will experiment until I find which built in template works best
@@audaciousenuf8606 It's hard for me to answer that, it depends on where you want to use the textures. You haven't mentioned any target application...
the plus button doesnt work for some reason
can you import templates ?
