My EV6 is coming up to it's first years service, so far it's been flawless, and like you I'm getting a lot more than its stated range. I took out a 5 year service plan so shouldn't cost me anything. Happy mototring !!!
@@HighOnCars1 I'm based in Australia here, and most things are a rip off, I mainly took it out to ensure continuation of warranty as some dealers have huge reluctantly with claims (if there is one) if the unit isn't "serviced" by a registered dealer. It cost me just over AUD$1000 for the 5 year service plan !
I took my 2023 EV6 to the dealer for it’s one year check with 16,000kms at 13.5 months of ownership. The dealer checked the reduction gear oil, rotated the tires, inspected the brakes, topped up fluids, scanned the complete system status with a printout included showing the high voltage battery SOH is still at 100%, and did a road test, it cost 1 hr labour plus minor shop supplies. My EV6 has never been charged to 100%, I insisted the car be delivered new at only 80% and I have never charged it above 90% even prior to going on a long trip. My cost to charge at home is CA$0.15/kwh and with BC Hydro introducing time of use energy around July 1st it should go to down to CA$0.10/kwh (US$0.073/kwh). I am very happy with the overall cost so far compared to the SUV with high performance V8 we had previously that required premium fuel at CA$2.32/litre (US$6.35/US gal). Murad, any news on your EV9 order?
CA$129.95 labour CA$16.14 shop supplies CA$17.53 PST/GST CA$163.62 total When my daughter’s 2019 Kia Niro EV went in for it’s one year service Oct 2020 at 16,000kms (a different Kia dealer) they charged CA$43.98 for everything. When the Niro went it for it’s two year service to the Kia dealer we mentioned about a minor sound, and during a road test the mechanic determined there was a strange humming sound coming from the reduction gear and after talking to the factory, Kia changed the complete reduction gear assembly on warranty. The mechanic was from Korea so he was able to talk to the factory. It has so far been worthwhile to use the dealer.
At the Four Year 60,000 km service for the Kia Niro EV, Kia advised that the low conductivity coolant was subject to a recall (apparently there had been an issue with the coolant gelling) which necessitated a complete flushing and replacement that took at least 2 hours and was all at Kia’s cost. Not all dealers had the special coolant in stock but the dealer that I have determined is the most honest/reputable (remember what I told you about ordering my EV9) did.
I'm curious, how are you finding the sound system nowadays? I have found a lot of different opinions online of how much the amplifier firmware recall and the October 2023 updates improved the sound (particularly the subwoofer performance) and there has been unfortunately no follow up revisits by any well-equipped channels with a more audiophile slant that could give a more authoritative re-review
How long is your lease & what is the mileage included in your lease? What should be your yearly cost (not including electricity & maintenance) for the EV6 up to when you exchange it for the EV9? Better to buy or Lease?
My EV6 is leased for 48 months and 24,000 kms a year. I've only changed the cabin air filter for $35 each taxes in twice as per the maintenance schedule and the tires got rotated during the winter tire swap. I'm gonna have to make a video on the lease vs buy because it's a long answer.

Good to hear. It's a great vehicle. How much did the 5 year service plan cost you?

Do they outline what they will do for the "service" apart from changing the cabin air filter?

That's awesome. Unfortunately all dealerships aren't alike.
Do you feel comfortable telling us what dealership you are using?

@@HighOnCars1 ah, so no change since then when coupled with the October 2023 infotainment system update?
Nope.

What about changing the brake fluid every two years or 24000 miles whichever comes sooner?
It's actually 48,000 miles or 48 months 😊
Please download the Maintenance Schedule from the link in the description 😊
Q: Did you shoot this video in FLA?
MP4. Why?
@@HighOnCars1 No, I meant Florida - it looked like the weather was pretty warm.
Oh lol. I thought you meant FLA file 🤣
Ev 5 launched in pakistan let's see how it goes. 🎉
They need EVs to reduce that smog.
@HighOnCars1 they are coming slowly i guess it will be pretty normal is few years but by then maybe I am also there or in 🇺🇸 :😜
@lifewithahmed81 🤞🏽
51k isn't too bad for GTA is it? It will take me another 43 years to get that many km on the nsx 😂
How many clicks have you put on it since you got it?
@HighOnCars1 6000 in 3 years. Last year I only put 1100 or so. The TLX type s only has 12500 in the same time.
