My ICCU and fuse failed at exactly 24 months of ownership and both replaced under warranty just before the new recall came out. My 12v battery is still going strong though so not all ICCU issues will damage the 12v battery.

I too had my battery replaced on my 2024 EV6 GT Line. It had 12,000 km and was 1 month over the warranty. They charged me 25% of a new battery or $75 Cdn $. I asked why the battery had died so early and their reply was, "we don't know what you do with your car." Implying it was my fault somehow. I have an appointment to take my car in for this recall on Tuesday. I will be asking them about my having to pay for the last battery. Be interesting to see their response.

just the software upgrade for me too....In May it was RC201 and December its RC210.....now sitting at 26K....still original battery

Only had one recall for my EV6 in Australia so far (after two years of ownership) the original ICCU update. The car has been flawless, still love it !!!

Again, thank you for these videos! I didn't receive this mail yet here in US, but I took my car in last week to replace the 12v battery on Warranty and they told me there was this software update. So they did all it. 100% free. 2022 GT-Line 26k miles.

With no mail service, they didn't have a choice 😂. I'm getting the car into the dealer on Monday. I'm glad my nearby kia dealer became ev certified and I don't have a 40 minute drive and wait at the dealer for a hour or so. I replaced my 12 volt battery with a Canadian tire glass mat battery with 5 year 100% replacement vs paying pro-rated coverage for the OEM battery and fussing around getting the battery qualified for warranty coverage.

Do you know what the range will be at a -30 for example? I live in Calgary Alberta , sometime the winter is harsh for few weeks , have you ever experienced this low temperature? And also how much it drops after you heat the sits and have an ambient of 23/24 c in the cabin ? Thank you for the video very informative

I would imagine the window switched light up. Does the other door switches light up? The blank screen is for having the stereo on but no screen. For driving at night etc. Using the power button turns it all off. I am looking at buying one of these. Thanks for the video

Sir, I cannot believe you only have 6, now 7 likes for this video. It was an exceptional one. I am looking at a 2016 base 228i coupe with M sport package. Noticed a burning oil smell. Talked the dealership into checking and replacing valve covers etc. They are going to inspect the timing chain while in there. Listed at 13,900 US. 78k miles. Totally blown away at the ride quality. If they get those gaskets and TC if starting to show end of life issues, is it still worth getting? Audio is the base and no security features. But I need a good 1 day a week to work and weekend / trip car. Thanks in advance!

Hey man. Loved the video but I am left scratching my head. I have a 2024 EV6 LAND AWD with GT Package 2 and 2 local tire shops and the dealership are all telling me I cannot go down to 18" wheels for the winters. I must do a minimum of 19". Can you offer any advice? I would much rather 18s.

Our brand new EV9 is suffering the same issue. its been with the service department for 4 weeks now with no deadline in sight. we only drove it for 2 weeks! if we have to wait for a replacement shifter from Korea, who knows when we will get it back. they haven't even identified the problem yet

Take another look at the EV9 when your lease comes up. By then, the EV9 will have a lot of the early bugs worked out.

I canceled my order on the EV9 aswell, I was able to test drive a 2024 White EV6 gtline-2 and loved it, I have a family of 4 so the space is perfect for what we need. Your comparison video with your friend who had a gtline-1 also helped me make my decision. At the end of the day you only lose a bit of interior room for a sporty car with more power.

The main problem with this device is that it overheats and this makes it very unstable. I do not recommend buying this.

Wow. That was a low-ball from the dealer. For comparison, in August, I got an estimate of 34k for my 2022 GT1 with 54k on it from Tesla who are known for low trade-in offers. I think it will be best if you can hold onto the car till lease end. I think it was smart to lease it.

I just purchased a 2017 230 I convertible much like yours question about your speedometer during the day… is it backlit? I find it hard to see and can’t find a way to adjust it. How does the windscreen work is it manual ?
