Another amazing product from the guys at TBS! What a great idea, and a reasonable price too! A Quality Product too as you can see from testing because it exceeds its rated power at each level! Under promise and over delivery - Sweet! Also another very informative review! Thanks much. 😎🤘
Thanks for the great content as usual! Interesting idea on the micro long range. This is actually super value for crossfire user as a crossfire nano se with a decent vtx that can output more than 1w cost way more and way larger
I wish TBS made it with a ceramic, built-in antenna, ELRS-style, in a 25.5x25,5 whoop form factor for toothpicks. And the weight should be significantly reduced - it may be OK ona 5 inch, but on a 2s, 2.5 ir 3 inch toothpick, weighing 40 or 50g, literally each gram counts and makes perceivable difference... At the moment my preferred setup is ELRS EP2 and Eachine Nano VTX v1 and the 69 won't change it...
@@noamamir0942 v1 has similar range to the Unify Pro32 Nano, which I had used extensively as well, but much more resistant to EF noise and produces cleaner video, plus is just half the price V2 and 3 are bigger and heavier and don't offer better range or iq

@Gal Kremer Hi I bought the TBS sixti9 but i cant find the update 4.62 for my micro tx v2 module in team black sheep page. Where i can find it? I would really apreciate your help!
You have to enable beta firmware releases on the main screen of the agent x, it should be in the settings top right corner, after you enable beta firmware releases you should be able to download and update your micro tx to 6.01 or whatever the latest one is. After that I was able to bind!
I have same issue. Agent X is only showing firmware up to 4.11 with beta updates enabled. Micro TX V2. Pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. TBS website is no help on this. What am I doing wrong?
Hi mate would you recommend this 69 crossfire + VTX or a rush tank solo VTX with crossfire diversity receiver 🤔 it for my armatton freestyle frame I'm going to be using the rush f7 analogue 50A ESC+FC stack you done a review on great video , so in your opinion which VTX and reciver set would you recommend 👊🙏
I was hoping this unit would eliminate the horizontal lines the tbs receivers usually cause in fpv video feed due to interference. I usually mount the tbs nano receiver as far as possible from Fc/vtx to eliminate the interference issue which is not possible with the tbs sixty 9. Pls advise if there is a better solution. Thx
Hello I just saw your video on the new equipment from TBS the sixty9. I can't binder it on my FC, I crossed RX and TX, in betaflight in UART 5 ports activated (RX) on my taranis (the crossfire TX) is in firmware 3.78. before I had the nanoRX from TBS and it worked flawlessly thank you for your reply could you give me an assembly diagram on the FC and how to bind it thanks in advance bruno
you need to update Firmware of your TX to v6 , you can find it in tbs agents and go to 3 dots up to right in app and active last choice to show beta Firmwares. than go to check least beta Firmware of your Tx
Thx Gal - just one question - realized that is does not support SmartAudio - to bad if my following assumption is right 🤔 just got one today and would like to use it in an very light INav wing build with a FC with only 2 UART to control it via CRSF Configurator/lua script you show at 5:36 will only work, if the 69 is connected to an UART, (TX/RX) right? so with only 2 UARTs like on a Matek F411 WSE (1 for CRSF RX, 1 for GPS) I won‘t be able to control the Sixty9 over softserial/SmartAudio?
the vtx is directly connected to the crossfire receiver, so no. there's no smart audio so you cannot control it via inav at all - not even low power till first arm or anything like that
You can actually control all the vtx settings through the radio, after you’re bound, just go to crossfire config and you’ll see the sixty9. In there you’ll be able to change vtx settings like power and channel etc
@@johnny_m_86 i realise that, but that is comletely missing my point. I cannot do it via the OSD or via the flight controller automatically full stop. that is (for me) a loss of functionality for no gain.
@@johnny_m_86 Same here 🤷♂️ I like to change my power levels with a switch what used to work with SmartAudio even with an only 2 UART (INav wing FC) like the small F411 WSE (for some builds the other Matek FC are just too big and/or heavy) and even if I got a Fusion module and could change it there …. to me no practical inflight solution like @Daytona FPV said - that’s a step back TBS - should have made the Audio pin working in both directions and not only for a microphone in
I see that too. I use inav logic to adjust my VTX power up and down automatically with distance (and in case of failsafes) - smartaudio support is needed for this. Oh well.
I am not sure why when I attempt to down load the newest firmware as you mentioned to allow the binding of the 69 board, the system only sends 3.0.17 version. I have set to 868MHz as you noted but it just hangs in the binding attempt mode with red blinking light on the 69. Where do you download the 4.62 etc newest variant? I have tried to attach the new Micro Transmitter and it seems not to see it or already thinks it is updated. All thoughts welcomed and thank you for this video.
@@KremerFPV Here again. In their last CRSF update 6.09 release notes they say "SmartAudio supported on Output 1 and Output 4". Output 4 is the audio cable but this still dont works. crazy for 50$, im really interested in seeing the tracer version rx preformence(only 1 antenna compared to the usual 2)
Hopefully it performs better than just running one antenna with the standard tacer reciever... I tried that on one of my 3" quads. Range was terrible

Yes it's possible - you can power it externally using a dedicated battery / BEC.

how to adjust channel and power on tx ? Hope your help

No
