i feel like a good way to have an "interesting" glue paragon would be making it being able to switch between utility/support and damage, maybe the damage glue could have a small slowdown effect while also being able to stack with the support glue to encourage micro but also allowing people who want to use it for damage to also have a small amount of support
This would be interesting actually, have the paragon either be a wall, halting BADs in their tracks and maybe slowing bosses depending on its paragon level, but dishing out virtually no damage. Or have a ramping dot effect that either doesnt slow or slows a tiny amount, but shreds through bloons extremely fast.
i think it would have been more clever for the fourth path glue to be Gritty glue, since the top path is already the "acidic glue" path. you could even make the tier 5 upgrade a "1 grit" glue gunner
13:45 judging by other aspects, this isn't the most recent update, so as such, Glue Storm slows by more than standard glue, around 80% slowdown is what an 0-5-2 glue slowed down by, only here it's applying to MOABs due to having MOAB Glue.
if i had to guess nk would go simple with the glue paragon, it can glue all bloons for 5 seconds, for those 5 seconds the bloons are slowed and take dot (reducing in effect toward the end of it's duration) with higher levels just having a higher starting point and end point.
I really like how this 4th path gives a new concept of the glue tower with the vanilla top path being big DoT, middle being glue as many as you can and bottom being how slow can you make the bloons while this modded 4th path makes it initial damaging tower which feels like thats something the vanilla bottom tries to do at times but fails incredibly

A lot of these are just alt paths or 3rd paths from BTDX which is amazing to see because a lot of them are very creative. Although most of them are edited (like the blacksmith upgrade from BTDX being followed by a tier 4 right path village from BTD5 as opposed to Bloonsbane which... is absolutely broken)

I reckon for glue paragon it should have 2 set modes, but add in a new feature like with the wizard how it has a limit on glue or power. On its preserving state it has high dps glue that only slows up to ZOMG's at about a 5%, and bads only get damaged by it. In its high pressure state, it uses a high powered hose, being a different glue gun it has different features. It has a high slow down effect, affecting bads but at half the rate, it should have about a 80% slow down, but 40% for bads, may need nerfing. Its ability should be a trap that does high damage and can be placed in an outer zone outside of the range of the glue paragon itself. This trap should stun anything up to ZOMGS for a bit and give power/glue to the paragon for every second/per balloon, there can be 3 on the map. It should be called. IMMOBILOUS MAXIMUS. I souly based this paragon like the wizard paragons as most of the paths dont play well together, like the pheonix and the undead bloons being separated. I decided to do the same with this tower making it set modes to tie in all paths equally.
Glueagon concept Pricing - around 600k to 800k Passive - glue effects can stack on top of eachother and bloon solver dps stacks up to 15 times. Main attack - Applies a 50% current speed slow to Bloons hit. Note that this slow can affect BADs and slows stuff to half of its current speed. Deals 5x solver dps and can stack up to 20 times (increasing with every 20 degrees up to 200 at degree 100). Attacks 10 times per second. Ability - creates walls of glue that block bloons from spawning in all but 1 lane for 3 rounds. It also increases the slow effect of the Glueagon by 50% so a 75% current speed slow. This ability has an 8 round cooldown, reducing the cd by 1 round per 20 degrees. Yes the ability is permanent on degree 100. So in short, blocks all but 1 lane, makes glue slow better and lasts 3 round and has an 8 round cd from when used scaling to infinite duration at degree 100. Why do people always use specific numbers when making these concept towers? I think it's better to avoid numbers so balance isn't a factor. When you add arbitrary untested numbers, you're setting yourself up for a really unbalanced idea. At least use ranges of numbers like you did with the price, so if something is strong, you can just have it toned down.
Not all Paragons have to do something special. Apex Plasma Master is just a big juggernaut crossbow shooting out three plasma juggernaut balls. Its just the combination of the 5th tiers. Sure it was the first, but still. I think the 5-5-5-5 is a good starting point at designing the paragon. Maybe it could flood the map in glue, maybe it would have more types of glue you can switch beetween, or special abilities, maybe the glue could be detonated to deal a lot of damage, or stun BADs for a long time. I still think the 5-5-5-5 is a good example of the vibes of a glue paragon
Maybe the ability of the glue paragon could be where it splashes a big glue glob on the ground at the player's desired location that sticks there for 3-5 rounds where it has the properties of said glue stats. I don't know it also feels underpowered as glue storm covers all track for sometimes longer due to the ability cooldown.
Honestly, I think a glue paragon should be a very cheap purely support paragon, so it doesn’t do that much damage to bosses but can clean up Rock bloons, chain moabs, bloonarius summons, etc. I feel that would make it very unique

For the glue paragon, I think they could make a good merge of damage and support, like the sub and ace. They are really strong, but still they give insane buffs, and are ofter bought degree 1 just for that. Maybe something like BAD slowdown (or maybe even boss?), it could acale with 20d, very slightly but still useful (like 5%-20% deg0-100 on bads and half on bosses?)
i mean slow on booses wouldnt be that good to be fair. keep in mind that if the boss is 200% faster it matters but if it is 99% slower it does not matter as much since the boss still wins by round 20 regardless of speed. but while its true that allows for more dps on the main towers i think you can get away with more slowdown.

The main point of the ability is to do something in bossing, you don't want a useless paragon to the main objective of paragons. It would obviously need balancing though.

Mayve a small active that greates a blob of glue that slows everything that it passes (Akin to the foam of the engy + wall of trees) that increases the damage the bloon takes by a decent amount and maybe that can slow bads, maybe even increased for bosses and it strips all special properties but its destroyed upon clearing(Rock shield or inmunity, phase camo/shield, vortex shield or stun, lich soul, bloonarius puke) hell maybe make it not work for a few bosses, make it specially good for the respective bosses. As for the main attack i dont think there is much more we can do apart from maybe making glue strip camo and lead properties, other than that average dps but centreded on countering some bosses "gimmicks" i mean having an solution for the late buffed rock bloons of the coop boss rush is nice
when they make glue paragon they should make the glue on it permanent and it should stack so it could be actually good against bads and bosses and make it single target focused

NGL path 4 here is kinda lame. Putting down glue traps is fun but seems incredibly weak. The tier 3 "acid" should really be renamed and rebranded. path 1 is acid. Path 4, high pressure hose. that perhaps increases projectile velocity and makes it deal contact damage by implying that it's like a glue pressure washer now. With the tier 5, i'd argue it should be a LITERAL hose, shooting a constant beam of glue that deals damage on impact with some slowing support based on your other mods. Describing it as an acid effect AGAIN is the most BORING way they could've done a path 4
I mean they've long since broken the "BADs are immune to Everything" rule with the navarch and beast handler, so there's definitely precedent for allowing the glue paragon to slow BADs
umm glue pargon should have inf projectle speed and effect bads but it does not slow pre round 100, but after it sets the soeed to what it would be on round 100 so on round 8274 the bads would be just as slow as they are
