Another tip: Once you finish Cindy's mission "The Errand Prince", there's a side quest just nearby. The guy will ask you to deliver an envelope, and youre going to go to Dave who is just somewhere near the restaurant. Completing his dog tag missions gives you tons of potions. And not just any potion. Dave gives you megapotions, elixirs, hi potions and probably a lot more
I recomend not sleeping for the entire first act. Just run through game till you meet the guy at the resort after that you'll get a free room that Grant's 2x's xp and will level you up a few good levels
I was wandering at night when I came across an Iron giant, iggy and gladio were knocked out only me and prompto were alive and WE WERE LEVEL 3. It took a long time but eventually we killed the giant. That made me feel like a pro at the beginning
Same thing happened to me I was level 5. Lucky I ate some food though which boosted my stats. Then these bomb monsters came out of nowhere. Was having trouble with them more then the iron giant 😅.
Some people avoid sleeping to rack up exp & I mean ALOT but those people miss out on scenes at campsites & hotels cause a few character building scenes and backstories only happen when you sleep. Less world lore and flushed out characters if you only think of exp saving.
Here's a tip if you want to make your car faster reach level 27 and then talk to Cindy she'll have you do a bunch of things to make your car better and faster
I'm no expert, but here's how I would ascend if I knew then what I know now. Ascension is a tab in the Map menu. It allows you to spend Ability Points to gain various abilities that help you on your journey. It is divided into several pages, so be sure to look at each of them before deciding what to get. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but you'll get used to it. I highly suggest spending your AP on everything that earns you AP first. Many of these are in Exploration, if memory serves. You can get a lot of AP just by driving around. Gas is only 10gil and it lasts a few days. And camping is something you do a lot. There's also a great farming technique involving one-shot warp strikes that you can pull off early game. Aside from the triple digit items, you shouldn't have a problem buying out your whole ascension by the time you've finishes all the side quests. I personally excluded the AP from pictures in battles one, but if you want to do that, it's your prerogative. After the AP boosts, if you haven't unlocked armiger yet, ascend some things that grant XP for performing certain tasks, just as a placeholder. The entire next part is pretty cheap. So you should be fine to skim off the top, but don't spend too much yet. When you finally unlock armiger, buy the whole armiger page out! It shouldn't take more than a few days to afford this, and it is so worth it. Use armiger often, especially in battles and training. Because that can net you a fair amount of AP just by itself. If you're reading this after you have armiger, or if you intend to get armiger as soon as possible, you could probably get this before XP, because it kicks ass. Er... Butt... ANYWAY, get these as soon as you can use them. Between this and your Warp Strike, you're going to be raking in a ton of AP, especially if you're using Thieve's Way to reduce your MP cost. Just be sure to save some MP for phasing. Then work your way through the stat=level multipliers, such as +health=lv*2. These will keep you alive against higher level opponents, but you shouldn't have a problem with low stats early game, so long as you don't bite off more than you can chew. sometimes you just gotta tuck your tail between your legs and run. It happens to the best of us. Now that you're rolling in a ton of AP, pick one that costs 999 and aim for it. It may take a bit, but you'll get there. By now, all those AP buffs are really paying off. You may not be able to dodge attacks in mid air, or do some fancy regroup with Ignis. But you just made 20+ AP off one fish. Slowly but surely you'll fill your ascension. And certainly much faster than if you filled it the usual way (I don't even remember what that is anymore). I hope this helps anyone who was curious about ascension. I just did this off the top of my head, so I may have made some mistakes. Or maybe I was too vague about something.
Just started it today bought it from work (argos) haven't played a ff since 10 and its a weird kinda game however im sticking with it got a good feeling
Also, early on its very helpful to get the perks in exploration that give you extra XP and AP while riding in cars and on chocobos. I believe they're chocobonus and road running if I'm not mistaken.
Normally I hate getting help for games but I’m very new to this & I wanted to get a little help before I go balls deep in this journey. Thanks for the vid, helped big time.
James Sobol ik its late but i got the game late i always wanted it but there were other games i just wanted to play first. I cant find this blade to save my life
If u guys want alot of exp fight the lvl 38 dinosaur thing, recommend developing a strategy to defeat it tho, it's not one of those enemies u just run up to & start attacking, after u defeat it, repeat ,it respawns, everyday .... using this method will put your lvls high early on in the game
No no no you want a good start. Do every side quest and every hunt at the very beginning all the way until you reach galden then when you rest (for free cause it's part of the story line bam you get all that exp cashed in at double) lol just a tip
Basch Lives. yea a ap a minute what a waste especially when you get the axe and warp strike him twice it cuts your health in half it has extremely bad accuracy that always seems to hit his side so you gotta him 4 times and the cactuar ex farming is a waste bc no matter how long you stay at the spot he never shows you'll be lucky to get him twice in a week =d I love the game I just got the ax and wasted 1 hour killing practice Claudio and only got 12 ap
Im only 10 hours in but I would recommend to anyone reading this to NOT go to that cave until it comes up in the main story. Just keep doing main quests til you get there. Them items can wait.
The advice was going great untill he said sleeping. Dobt DO IT, just wait untill the journalist with the boat. He will give you a night free in the 10000 Hotel. By the time you get there you will have lots of exp, I actually levelled up more than 10 levels in one shit when I did that. I am barely 5 hours in and already level 25.
Dont rest til the end of chapter 1. Its not that far and you can easily still handle all of the combat. Waiting til the end of chapter 1 gives you FREE access to the 10k hotel for the night as you wait for the boat. I jumped from level 1 to level 12
can you always go back to the previous areas no matter which chapter you are in, also are there any other magic spells than just fire, ice and lightning because I can't see any other ones on the skill tree or did I miss sth here? is it possible to miss any summons like ramuh?
You can go back 99% of the time and after you finish the game you can explore it all so dont worry about that, and there are only 3 elements but mixing some rare items gives special effects like heal, etc...!
Thnks bro 💯💪🏾💯💯 really helped a lot I js had to restart it cz I lost my save data on the cloud sum hw but I didn’t knw wt I wz doin to bein with but this gave me a better start !!
Either dont sleep till you end chapter 1. so you can get the free 2x exp night stay at the 10k a night hotel on the peer. or if you want to camp, equip the nix bracer so you dont level up.
dacbiet Thank you for this comment. I actually discovered this dungeon on my own whilst roaming and I got to the end where there's a locked boss door or something. Been trying to find the key but your comment tells me it'll come naturally through the storyline.
Hopeless Wanderer after you beat the main story line and you beat 4 dungeons(not sure which ones look it up) you can go to an old lady and she gives you a key to into those raid doors
You must be revisiting the game before the ff7 remake like i am. I actually never finished 15 so i figure now is the time to do so. Maybe you can help me out though. I just picked up the standard edition again. Does that still give me the expanded city at the end and extra bosses? Or do i need the Royal edition?
hi I have never played a final fantasy but decided to check 15 out it's amazing butcould you guys suggest anything to help me be a little better. Been exploring like crazy is it that important. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
So how are you stacking your exp whilst also having time pass in game? Makes sense that you would do it so you can stay at the hotel but i just don't get how
want the real best start? as soon as you have control of your character, go behind the restaurant and farm the cactuars, 6k xp a kill once a day, not this crap you're watching
Thanks for the info. I need to retrace my step and obtain those KEYS items to get a good start only like 8% in the game. How do you get the Regalia type-F
MrAcura28 just like with FFX, you can farm AP endlessly until you have everything. However you will stop getting AP from leveling obviously once you hit max level, so you have to get it from other methods
I won't lie. I've been on the fence on picking this up. I mean, I've never played a FF game before, so why would I? This video. That's why. Thanks, mate!!
I wish there was update video of tip and trick because if you have Royal or already all dlc there accessories you get star off with think there 5 different tpye accessories only two you need there the accessories that stop lvl and item drop with is you can fight cactuars and other monster item you get will be alot because u keep passing side quests hunt and surrounded monster that sponse doing this get you alot ex for doing this and when you can't get anymore items go shop you get 8000 so doing this I'm collecting ex everyday you have money go to that hotel that cost 10,000
noticed how he ended the video just as it was a dead end ... unless u have unlocked the door to the tomb of conquerors u pretty much have to go all the way back
Not really a great start if you buy an inferior weapon then minutes later pick up a far better one you might as well go pick up the Brennare Blade first and Avengers daggers which is close by then wait till both weapons re-spawn so Noctis, Ignis and Gladio all have their own pair of weapons just buy a Pole arm for Ignis and you should be good
Can someone explain to me how to get the Masamune *_for all the accounts in my PS4?_* I already have the code, but I was wondering if I activate it, will only 1 person get it or can all the accounts get the weapon in the PS4?
The way the PS3 was if one had downloaded something it would be available for all on that PS3 but PS4 made it not like this. Only themes downloaded by accounts and few things are shared but DLC stuff for games are not shared between accounts on PS4's.
Yeah and get those 100k exp by killing the cactuar repeatedly near the hammerhead before you progress the main quest and imperials start harassing you constantly. You get 5k exp per kill.
Can anybody help me out here?! the bottom left screen shows your 4 equipped weapons or magic. and it keeps rotating it itself for me. is this even normal or comoon?! please help me out asap
You might have an accessory equipped to Noctis that cycles through his weapons with every attack. Can't remember the name of it off the top of my head but just check what you have equipped in the Gear menu.
dude you are steering people the wrong way. on the ascension grid, it is key to get the abilities that grant AP for camping and driving first. you will be doing both a lot start earning easy AP for it as early as possible. also camping does not grant exp bonuses but staying in a camper/hotel does not allow you yo eat, so you are loding meal buffs. sure you could get food from a resturant but those buffs are never as good.
Tutorial "how to fight" Me "worp strike, warp strike, warp strike." They did not sleep for flipping YEARS literally saving up points trying to get a 3× boost
I just started this game today and I gotta say... I was disappointed. The map is too big, which is ok, but damn Noctis is SO DAMN SLOW IT HURTS. It really ruins all the fun in exploration. Also, the fact that you have to rest on certain locations just to actually get you XP really pisses me off. Idk maybe I'll give it another shot later, but plz tell me I'll get used to it :(
that mini boss battle at the end of this video, since its part of tje storyline; how long from the beginning if i didnt take the route shown would it take to reach this part n if i follow this vid and progress with the storyline would i fight this miniboss again?
Another tip: Once you finish Cindy's mission "The Errand Prince", there's a side quest just nearby. Dayum thnx I just got the game
I recomend not sleeping for the entire first act. Just run through game till you meet the guy at the resort after that you'll get a free room that Grant's 2x's xp and will level you up a few good levels
@Mafee Fitomo how? I tried so many times. Used so many different tactics. Came close but he just wouldn’t lose that last bit of health!
@Mafee Fitomo was it really worth it if it took days lol?
I slept a bunch of times and still got to stay there for free lol. Might have been a patch or something.
Doesnt work. There's times in the game before ever getting to Altissia (The resort you mention) where it automatically spends all of your EXP.
@@fuzzypanda1684 you always get the free night. Hes just saying to save up until that night so everything you gain is under the 2× multiplier
I was wandering at night when I came across an Iron giant, iggy and gladio were knocked out only me and prompto were alive and WE WERE LEVEL 3. It took a long time but eventually we killed the giant. That made me feel like a pro at the beginning
Lol my first play I was panicing whenever these guys spawned.
But once I realized they werent so bad they became good farming :)
Yo the same thing happened to me last night lol
Same thing happened to me I was level 5. Lucky I ate some food though which boosted my stats. Then these bomb monsters came out of nowhere. Was having trouble with them more then the iron giant 😅.

Im at the start of the game and my car is really slow. Is that normal? And how can i make it fast easily?
this may be a little late, but you can start her quest chain at act 3, im only lvl 18

Great thanks alot!
i recommend going to adventure tab and put AP in car travel! Never fast travel alway take the long route!
Marcellus Fab just warp kill level 2 mobs 7 ap per encounter
Just started it today bought it from work (argos) haven't played a ff since 10 and its a weird kinda game however im sticking with it got a good feeling
I just got the game and is installing right now and i'm hyped as hell😂😂😂😂😭😭
THIS IS ME RIGHT NOW
Thank you! I'm about to start my adventure on the game for the first time. Finally decided to give Final Fantasy an opportunity ^^
Also, early on its very helpful to get the perks in exploration that give you extra XP and AP while riding in cars and on chocobos. I believe they're chocobonus and road running if I'm not mistaken.

"Money is really important, now buy this sword that I'm going to tell you to replace for free in 2 minutes"
the place to get the Blade of Brennaere is *west* of Dave, not *north*, this confused me for a good while.
James Sobol ik its late but i got the game late i always wanted it but there were other games i just wanted to play first. I cant find this blade to save my life

Thank you for this, this is my first final Fantasy since tactics. Needless to say I have been struggling but loving the game nevertheless
Tactics was an absolute masterpiece
Gosh Darn!! No wonder you struggled 😂
very helpful mate thank you this game is sooooooo addictive
No no no you want a good start. Do every side quest and every hunt at the very beginning all the way until you reach galden then when you rest (for free cause it's part of the story line bam you get all that exp cashed in at double) lol just a tip
The best tip I found for this game is to repeat the lv 5 gladio training for Ap by finishing him with a warp strike. It's the fastest way I found.
Basch Lives. yea a ap a minute what a waste especially when you get the axe and warp strike him twice it cuts your health in half it has extremely bad accuracy that always seems to hit his side so you gotta him 4 times and the cactuar ex farming is a waste bc no matter how long you stay at the spot he never shows you'll be lucky to get him twice in a week =d I love the game I just got the ax and wasted 1 hour killing practice Claudio and only got 12 ap
mouseyjeff17 it shouldn't take an hour beating Claudio up o.o
Artistic Stormtrooper doing it over and over for an hour
mouseyjeff17 cactuar shows up if it's a hunt too :)
Basch Lives thanks bro

Yes!! I was looking to see if this was already commented.
Great vid....seriously finally one the makes a difference!!
I played this for the first time yesterday and I did exactly what this guy did just naturally. Cause it seemed efficient🤣🤣
And the new armour that came with the patch makes you immune to all damage. And to reset the charge. Just change the date on your ps4.
The voice lines when you’re exploring the cave systems are pretty funny. 😂
Great Vid I had no idea what I was doing this helped me a lot
I'm starting this today it's my first FF game I just couldn't stand the turn based combat and damn I've got a lot to learn.
Just have fun, learn the mechanics, and have Noctis equip weapons & necklaces that boost his Mag attack to destroy groups of mobs.
Go north of Dave and you'll find the Brenere... i got lost after that. I appreciate the help. Ill try a 3rd restart and try to find that.
Dont rest til the end of chapter 1. Its not that far and you can easily still handle all of the combat. Waiting til the end of chapter 1 gives you FREE access to the 10k hotel for the night as you wait for the boat. I jumped from level 1 to level 12
ewokrage is this game worth a buy.
Mike Simpson yes
can you always go back to the previous areas no matter which chapter you
are in, also are there any other magic spells than just fire, ice and

is it possible to miss any summons like ramuh?

thanks, so I guess you have already played through this game, how many summons are in this game? Ive seen ramuh and leviathan in the trailers so far
5 or 6
go to elemancy and add items for special effects
LiangHuBBB you can go back but some areas you have to wait a while to go back to
Get Ignis's enhancement ability really useful when fighting powerful enemies.
Thnks bro 💯💪🏾💯💯 really helped a lot I js had to restart it cz I lost my save data on the cloud sum hw but I didn’t knw wt I wz doin to bein with but this gave me a better start !!
Thanks, this is the perfect level for just a starting video!
Either dont sleep till you end chapter 1. so you can get the free 2x exp night stay at the 10k a night hotel on the peer. or if you want to camp, equip the nix bracer so you dont level up.
Isaiah where can i get the nix bracer?
This game looks soooo good. Why did it get so much hate? Definitely just rose to the top of my backlog list.
Newly subscribed great video. I feel like such a newb I'm like halfway through and I didn't know about Iggy's healing tech.
what did you equip from cindy? Slow down sometimes.
Thank you for this guide. It helped me.
@Die NooB can you please do more on final fantasy 15? You seriously make the best walkthrough content!
Great video, liked and subbed. Thanks
Properly showing the map for locations would've been nice...
this was really helpful thanks brother
that dungeon at the end is part of the main story line
dacbiet Thank you for this comment. I actually discovered this dungeon on my own whilst roaming and I got to the end where there's a locked boss door or something. Been trying to find the key but your comment tells me it'll come naturally through the storyline.
Hopeless Wanderer after you beat the main story line and you beat 4 dungeons(not sure which ones look it up) you can go to an old lady and she gives you a key to into those raid doors
when you went to the dungeon. I thought you were going for the royal sword xD
@@zoenicoletv why don't you look it up in the PSN store?
I. Up 2 the water fall episode. What level should I be before taking on the snake
See the rank system at the end of each fight, does it really matter if you A+ or even a D rating? Will it have an impact later on?
thanks man good info , still waiting for my copy I also learnt not to sell debased coins and rare coins.
hi I have never played a final fantasy but decided to check 15 out it's amazing butcould you guys suggest anything to help me be a little better. Been exploring like crazy is it that important. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Didn't know that weapon shop was even there!
attikey you must be blind.
Good tips! :)
That's awesome thanks for this video. This game is grand.
Awesome stuff. Thanks!
The best first things to level up are the extra ap rewards, don’t even argue lol
Thanks dude 👌🏻
thanks this helps a lot.
Game has so much to offer
great video thanks for the tips
I must be blind. Where he shows on the map I can't find the outpost
Where did you get the paint for the job along with the stickers
1:04 ignis slidin in the dm's like
It'd be nice if you paused the menu for a second to show us the map..
Is there limited amount of AP you can get? Can you reassign the AP's in the ascension tree?
MrAcura28 not really. however getting ap from lvling stops once you've reach max. I believe he has an ap farm video up if you need the help
MrAcura28
just like with FFX, you can farm AP endlessly until you have everything.
However you will stop getting AP from leveling obviously once you hit max level, so you have to get it from other methods
Need a royal edition guide as it gives you so many items that make most of this "guide" obsolete
Thank you sir i appreciate it

To me the most important thing is upgrade the stats tree that boosts your hp per level
Do anyone know if you can save more then 100 photos with prompto
pretty sure it maxes out at 150.
Do you just have to level the skill up or do you need an item cause I can't make get over 100

dude you are steering people the wrong way. on the ascension grid, it is key to get the abilities that grant AP for camping and driving first. you will be doing both a lot start earning easy AP for it as early as possible. also camping does not grant exp bonuses but staying in a camper/hotel does not allow you yo eat, so you are loding meal buffs. sure you could get food from a resturant but those buffs are never as good.
Whew those graphics looking rough.
Tutorial "how to fight"
Me "worp strike, warp strike, warp strike." They did not sleep for flipping YEARS literally saving up points trying to get a 3× boost
How do you get the stand by me song to play in the car
chris miller you go right on the soundtrack until you hit "one winged angel" the final fantasy 7 song.
