Not sure if I would get it, but it is in my cart as we speak. I already own the TTArtisan 35mm F2 APO, which is extremely sharp wide open and it's an APO, which makes it s great performer wide opened all the way to F8. But, it is pretty long compared to this version. This is a decent size for a walk-around.
Looks like a nice option for the price, specially to walk around doing some random street photography. Too bad is so soft wide open because it means it is not so good for the ocasional portrait. I will consider it for my Canon RP since the 35mm f1.8 is almost 500€
Nice review, beautiful images, however you don’t mention the significant barrel distortion. *although that is fairly easy to correct for these days. I wonder how this compares to the even more budget friendly and maybe equally compact Pergear 35mm 1.4. I love my 7artisans 50mm f1.05, so my expectations for this new 35mm were a bit higher.
@@jamescaldwell5 Barrel distortion is an often overlooked characteristic. The Fujifilm 35mm f/1.4, one of my favorite lenses of all time, has a 3D look partly due to its barrel distortion.
Great review. I hope this will come someday to Leica M Mount😢… not cause I am using Leica, but I adapt their manual lenses with the TechArt focus adapter to Z mount… works like a charm and this lens would fit the Nikon ZF great, this works for E Mount too! I have the Ttartisan 50mm 1.4 APSH and it’s amazing to have such a good and compact 50mm 1.4.

I don't think I tried the 35mm f2 APO from TTArtisan, maybe I should give it try.
@AndreiDimaReviews Review it! It hasn't been marketed well, but unbelievable performance.
Thank you for the review, it's the first one I found
Glad I could help!
Oviedo! I studied there for my Erasmus. You reminded to me all the nice moments and discoveries I had in that magic city.
Great review as well!
Thank you! I just moved here from Valencia, love the city and the people are so nice.
Nice to already see a review of this lens ❤
Hope you like it!
Hi i wonder can i use this lens to do vlog or review technology item? ( I have zve10 )
I would recommend something with autofocus for what you want.
@ which is the good budget one you recommend. Thank you.
A great lens for video
It is a nice and compact lens.
Looks like same optics as the mark ii version. Barrel Distortion is a thing on this one
I never used the previous versions. This one looks more compact.

@@MM-mo9hn That would be nice!

Thank you! I accidentally cut the part about barrel distortion and only noticed after I published the video. I was really tired from work.
@@AndreiDimaReviews these days it’s one of the easiest lens flaws to compensate for. But it definitely adds character to the images.

Is it AF?
It is a manual lens, so no.
