Another way to get the blue onion in sun speckled terrace is by using ice blasts. By throwing them they can freeze the water temporarily. Just don’t wait too long to throw more as it will cause the onion to sink and unable to be moved
When i first tried to get the blue onion to the mainland in SST, i put 30 ice pikmin in the water near the onion, kill the blowhog, then rush into the onion till it got to the mainland near my base, then called the ice pikmin to carry it to the onions next to the ship.
Agreed. I’m 100% certain there will be DLC for this. There is space in the list of areas in the main game for another area. I’m pretty sure Nintendo will announce it in a future direct.
Soooo... With the blue onion I got it into the water and then the ice melted and now it's stuck in the water and I'm unable to get it out. I'm guessing I'll end up getting blue pikmin in an underground area which will allow me to retrieve it?
@@JonnyVasquez-yl4yq Yep that's right, I ended up leveling up my dog so it could grab treasure underwater and when i came back to the level it had already spawned back in it's original spot lol

It's kind of funny that the White Onion and Purple Onion where the hardest to get lol. SInce those are the colors of actual onions IRL.
That’s a good point! Making them rare also makes sense for the Pikmin world, since this is the first game to feature Purple and White Onions.

Guys if the blue onion sinks ( I learned the hard way) if oatchi knows how to swim you can use rush to push the blue onion to shore

The 8 Onion colors are: blue, gray, light-blue, pink, purple, red, white and yellow

Wait 3 in game days and the onion will reset back to its original postion
