The BEST tip is once you think you’ve found everything, use Oatchi to sniff out treasure, especially in caves!! He can find buried treasure you can’t see or lock onto underground, and is THE ONLY WAY to 100% caves/stages/game
My tips is use Winget, Rock, Purple, and White Pikmin only when you actually need them. Some areas like Area 3 is water level, and game always ask you use Purple pikmin's. But there is no Treasure in level 3, that you actually need Purple pikmin's. Other than "That" Castle.. Area 4 is place you actually use mainly Yellow and Ice Pikmin's, and some Rock's. You need Ice pikmin to get Ice Onion.
The best advice is to ride your dog and tackle all your foes while carrying as many pikman as you can. It will not only stun the enemy but all the pikman will attack at once and drop their HP like it doesn't even matter.

I don't think this game really needs "tips to survive". This is the easiest Pikmin game by far lmao. I haven't lost a single Pikmin and I'm almost done with the 3rd area
@Ausar0 remember that just because it's easy for you, doesn't mean it's easy for everyone else. I've lost several Pikmin already as of right now despite trying my best to keep them alive.
@@Scapetti When is that, exactly? I admit I still have some more to do, but I've already rescued Olimar at this point and it's still been incredibly easy. Maybe the last area or two post-credits gets more challenging like in Pikmin 2, but UNLIKE Pikmin 2, nothing before the first ending was even remotely challenging.
When otchi has the elemental guards he can charge at gates usually either knock it down outright or do lots of damage to it
Another thing. Don't just always ride oatchi he's basically a 2nd captain split up and conquer!
