- Thousands of miles away from the Middle East, there is a Chilean club which raises its flags for the Palestinian cause. Our friends at Brazilian Channel Peleja immersed themselves within in the club, to understand why the Club Deportivo Palestino's shirt has generated so much noise in recent years.
This is just one example of many clubs throughout the world that exist as a means to maintain or celebrate a unique ethnic community. The club was founded in 1920 and plays in the Primera División de Chile. CD Palestino affirm the importance of football and identity, providing a sense of home to a community for 100 years.

A very touching and interesting story. I believe Celtic Football club has also made displays of 🇵🇸 flags, even being fined for doing so. In EPL, Laliga and other leagues it is supposedly forbidden to display political symbols at stadiums, but they allow BLM political slogans directly on jerseys, and even perform kneeling rituals, and at nearly every pro sporting event in the world there's always some joker holding up a 🇮🇱 no matter how irrelevant and out of place, and it never gets banned.
I'm very thankful for 🇮🇱.

Solo recordar que los palestinos en Chile se han caracterizado siempre por dos cosas:
1. Gente muy trabajadora, y quizás. por lo mismo, calzaron tan bien con los antiguos chilenos que siempre fuimos muy trabajadores - las últimas dos generaciones son bastante flojas la verdad -.
2. Empresariado muy arriesgado, innovador y sobre todo responsable con sus empleados y con el fisco.
Tal vez por eso no calzaban con el empresariado tradicional que siempre se ha caracterizado por absolutamente lo contrario.
Palestina es el ÚNICO país hermano para Chile.

This means we are all the same we all bleed red if you cut us do we not so there for we are all the same.
Jock Tomson was a Prodestent Minister in Edinburgh & he use to take in all Children that where roaming the streets that where orphans & had no one else to look after then.
In the East of Scotland they say
Barins for Youing Children in The West of Scotland we say Waynes for Children.
So the original version of this Scottish saying is
We are all Jock Tomson's Barins but because I am from The West of Scotland we replace The word Barins with Waynes because that's the world we use in The West.
Hopefully you understand trying not to confuse you but basically what I am saying is we should treat everyone the same with kindness & respect but in past history of this world sadly this has bot always happened.

Its weird because its literally a soccer team representing a demographic from the other side of the world, yet the solidarity inspired by the palestinian cause has made the team one of our national treasures in sports
