Dark Depths | Trouble in Theondir | D&D Campaign 1, Session 21

Having entered the Great Iron Mines of Kah’ La-Houm in pursuit of a sickly undead ghoulish figure that had dragged Bholen into the deep darkness, the group would eventually make their way through an enormous metal door into the mine proper. Here their progress was impeded by a surprise attack from a Vampiric Blood Ooze as well as several undead archers.
Despite the danger of this attack, however, the group would walk away relatively unharmed. At this point their path split off into three different corridors, of which the group followed the central one that would eventually bring them face to face with the very horror that apparently led the sad souls of an earlier generation to abandon this mine.
What awaits the group? What will they do? Where will they find the courage to persevere in their quest? Somewhere in the deep darkness lies the answer to each and every one of these haunting questions.
