I'm in love with the sensational artist he is, he always surprises me with his brilliance. And I like it when you laugh out of the corner of your mouth. That means you discovered Something in the video 😏, Tommy is very creative, and I'm already thinking about next Friday 😁🤘⚒️🎸😎💯👏

As it is midsummer next week we will get some accordion. As a sharped eye Team Tommy member saw, a tab on Tommy’s computer in the Più Bella Cosa said Fattig Bonddräng and now it was heard in this video. So you can get ahead and watch it sung by someone else.
I think it's 'En fattig bonddräng'. I love Tommy Körberg, but he has too much voice, if you understand what I mean 😅, for that song. The original in the movie, the farm worker Alfred ( actor Björn Gustafson) is better. In my opinion the best is a live version by Freddie Wadling, on the TV quis show 'På spåret' 2011. While you check out that one, continue with another Freddie Wadling on 'På spåret', the same show I believe, now 20 together with Sofia Karlsson, covering 'Where The Wild Roses Grow' (Nick Cave - Kylie Minogue)!! Flabbergasting! Edit: You can find both on YT!
I'm pretty sure the melody in the end is Fattig Bonddräng, (Poor Farmer's hand). Written by Georg Reidel with lyrics from Astrid Lindgren (Author of Pippi Longstocking). It was written for a film based on one of her books (Emil i Lännebrge, Emil From Lönneberga) This is the most famous version of that song, sung by Tommy Körberg. ruclips.net/video/ETuQ8I7YPPQ/видео.html
It's always wonderful when Tommy sings and plays in nature with Mandy filming him. And his version sounds even more tribal than the original. ❤️ Nice reaction also 🎶
Like always, Tommy absolutely owned this cover, wonderful song and video. English lyrics that Tommy provided in the description (written in a comment below) are not the translation, but the English version of the song that was sung in ESC (Swedish version was at Melodienfestivalen). It's also great, but the original Swedish lyrics are much more beautiful. This is the direct translation: I was caught in a darkness, I saw no light Although everything around was on fire In the glow of the flames was my hope and my faith Who swirled away and disappeared So give me my strength Give me strength to defend my country Give me a way to go I see the axe in the warrior's hand Do you want me to turn around? And fight for who I am? I will never let my country down When the winds whisper my name My name The rain that fell had to hide my sadness And quench my burning thirst I fled to the mountains when dawn came But suddenly I heard a voice The winds whisper I hear them calling my name I have a way to go I see the axe in the warrior's hand
It will be something to do with Swedish Midsummer next Friday! Our second biggest festivity (after Christmas) . I am sure! Especially we hear a distant Accordion in the background
Its the song Fattig Bonddräng often sung by Tommy Körberg from the musical Chess . ruclips.net/video/77eA18qtcnU/видео.html If Tommy does this it will be amasing...
You should really check out this guys reacting because he is swedish and it's really nice to see the english words at the same time! You get a better understanding of the song!! ruclips.net/video/bJxsvkHcs4U/видео.htmlsi=PqO9bWP2OKkH5Ew7
Here you have the lyrics to When the winds whisper my name. Lyrics I am caught in a trap, there is no turning back I'm finally facin' the fear The sky is on fire, and up with the flames My hope and my dreams disappear So bring me the power I'll be the king of the land and the seas Show me the way to go Let me fight with my body and soul Let me be the native son With freedom in my heart Life will never be the same When spirits are calling my name My name Let me out of the darkness, the shadow of pain And I'm keeping my promise to you My people, my spirit, the home of my heart You're with me wherever I go So bring me the power I'll be the king of the land and the seas I've got a way to go Let me fight with my body and soul Let me be the native son With freedom in my heart Life will never be the same When spirits are calling my name My name So bring me the power I'll be the king of the land and the seas I've got a way to go Let me fight with my body and soul Let me be the native son With freedom in my home Life will never be the same When spirits are calling my name Spirits are calling my name
Tommy has an INCREDIBLE voice, however, in this one he lacks some of the fullness Roger Pontare has. He also has raised it a few notes, I think, still struggling with going so low. But, just wait a couple of years! Pontare was 48 (was born in Oct 17, 1951), Tommy is 36 (was born in Oct 26, 1987). There is a lot going on naturally with the voice between 36 - 55, in 10 - 14 years ahead... 👍

PlayAgain, the melody at the end is "Fattig Bonddräng".
I think you are right about that one, it sure sounds like Fattig bonddräng.
It's soon midsummer eve in Sweden and I would imaging something related to traditional music for this holiday...
@@M_J_nan I belive so too. Or perhaps Astrid Lindgren music; Idas Sommarvisa?
I think it's 'En fattig bonddräng'.

Eagerly awaiting seeing Tommy with the accordian:)

Yep, he,s up to something with the Midsummer here, I think. What I don,t know but I,m sure it will be good. Tommy be good... 😄
Tommy is amazing! Thank you for another great video reaction 🌷🌷🌷🌷
The music that you barely can hear at the end sounds like swedish folk music, accoardian…? Hopefully it is! Tommy will work his magic on that! 🥰👌
If he throw in easter eggs the Sabaton wrapped guitar he found on the ground might be one
❤❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 Thanks
It is Midsummer next Friday in Sweden.
I am a poor farmer from Astrid Lindgrens Emil in Lönneberga

Here you have the lyrics to When the winds whisper my name.
Lyrics
I am caught in a trap, there is no turning back
I'm finally facin' the fear
The sky is on fire, and up with the flames
My hope and my dreams disappear
So bring me the power
I'll be the king of the land and the seas
Show me the way to go
Let me fight with my body and soul
Let me be the native son
With freedom in my heart
Life will never be the same
When spirits are calling my name
My name
Let me out of the darkness, the shadow of pain
And I'm keeping my promise to you
My people, my spirit, the home of my heart
You're with me wherever I go
So bring me the power
I'll be the king of the land and the seas
I've got a way to go
Let me fight with my body and soul
Let me be the native son
With freedom in my heart
Life will never be the same
When spirits are calling my name
My name
So bring me the power
I'll be the king of the land and the seas
I've got a way to go
Let me fight with my body and soul
Let me be the native son
With freedom in my home
Life will never be the same
When spirits are calling my name
Spirits are calling my name
That's the English lyrics, not a translation, but good enough.
