    Another name for the wolverine is gulo gulo, which means glutton in Latin. What do you think of our new friend, Bandit the wolverine?

    Wolverine is honey badger little brothers

    • @indyreno2933
      @indyreno2933 2 года назад +1

      Actually, the Wolverine (Gulo gulo) is not related to the Honey Badger (Mellivora capensis), they belong to entirely different families, the honey badger is after all a badger and badgers form a monophyletic group of fifteen extant species within seven extant genera, which is the family Melidae, whilst the wolverine forms a monophyletic group with the zorillas, muishund, shulang, huro, grisons, tayra, martens, and fisher, which is another family known as Ictonychidae, wolverines and honey badgers only share similarities due to convergent evolution.
