- This is Savannah's 2nd driving lesson with me (25 hours of driving lessons previously)
Today was all about routine, she's not used to checking mirrors making decisions on her own. So the plan is to get Savannah used to being aware of her surroundings at all times and noticing the different types of junctions ahead.

Passed my driving test today! Even though I'm im Canada and driving in the UK seems wayyy harder, I still feel accomplished! I was so stressed before the exam and thought I would fail, but I ended up passing!! I wish the best of luck to anyone taking their tests soon, you've got this!

I’m from the U.S and admire these videos very much. I have had my license for a year and a half and have been driving mostly by myself, which is was I prefer. As of recently, I have been experiencing road anxiety. When I first obtained my license I was extremely confident and drove smoothly. These videos allow me to learn new things and I can’t love it enough. I’m am slowly trying to build confidence again. I’m not sure exactly what my issue is but I am trying. ❤

Progress videos are the best! Mock tests are good but its great to see these type of videos back on the channel. Hopefully more to come!
Another one is start from the top and work down . Do center mirror at the top. Come down check your side mirrors. Decide If a signal is useful. Come down again and select the gear required and make monouvere. Is another way to remember it . The problem with mirror signal monouvere is remembering which mirror to look in first. Where with top to bottom you have to look in center first as it's the highest 1

Always remember, as a learner you have every right to use the road as someone with a licence 🙂 confidence can be one of the biggest barriers driving on public roads but you will get there!
I know everyone learns at different paces, I thought she might've been a bit better for having 25 hours of lessons already. She probably had a long break though which could be why.
Still doing well though! If you want to get someone to learn the bite point faster, do what my instructor did and make them park on a steep road and tell them to hold the bite and release the handbrake without letting the car move forward or roll back 😄 taught me A LOT about the clutch!

I love how the car automatically restarts after stalling 😍 that would have been fun to learn in. If I ever drive manual again I want a car like that.

I'm learning to drive to I was really nervous but now really confident now had just over 40 hours I forget that you can go into first before you come to a stop at lights junctions I stop then go into first

Cyclists...... ugh, they are nuts here in Toronto. You'll be turning right, signalling and they'll come up and pass you on the right sometimes while you are in the middle of a turn. I personally hug the curb so they can't pass. For you guys, that would be turning left. Anyhow, good job! My daughter and her friends are just old enough to get their licence, eeekkkkk

Hi Aman, I love your videos. I am currently learning to drive and my steering is still quite weak. I had a driving lesson this morning, and my instructor got very angry because I didn’t turn the steering wheel quick enough when I was turning into a car park. There was another car that was coming out but I turned the steering wheel a bit late, so that could have caused a crash . I have only had a few lessons. You are very calm and I wish my instructor was like you. I will keep watching your videos 😊. I am thinking of changing instructors but I will see how it goes.

Can you stop removing the feet cam when at junctions and full cam comes on. Keep the feet cam overlayed at all times so we can see the clutch and that. Would help a lot. Thank you

Hi, sorry to hear that. I have just had a few hours of driving lessons and my instructor got very angry with me today, because I steered too late when I was turning into a car park Now I don’t feel that happy with her teaching me. It was a shock when she raised her voice. I just kept calm but it’s annoying because I am paying her to teach me. I might change instructor. Hope you pass your test

The junction you missed you where focusing too much on the speedo. Concentrate on the junction and trust your eyes . They will naturally tell you to slow down to the right speed. If your eyes say the junction is coming too fast that means brakes more . Did the right thing when you realised you had missed the junction and carried on. Rarther than panic and take it

I'm on my 10th lesson and don't feel I'm making progress at all. I feel so useless.
Please do not feel that way, I lost count on the hours I did before I started making progress, you got this and you can do it. I passed my test a year ago, If I could pass, sure you can as well 😉

As someone who is switching from automatic to manual(🫣).. (I know, I must be mad!) but I just thought in the long run it’s more beneficial however these videos and learning more about the use of clutch, finding the biting point & how to assess it is sooo helpful for when I restart lessons! Thank you Aman :)
