Even if they have a lot of faith in Hukporti becoming a valuable center.. we still need another reliable back up center. Sims is useless.. and Robinson can get injured at any moment.

I like Julius. I think he deserves a chance to finally overcome his playoff demons.
RANDLE NOT GETTING TRADED
I think the reason is that randle isnt a likely extension candidate. So the idea of trading him isn’t necessarily hate, but that we have an opportunity to get something back for him…
I’d personally keep him and explore at the deadline if need be
It's because Randle could decline his option at the end of next season and could walk and the Knicks could get nothing for him. I don't want Randle to get traded, but it's an idea to entertain if there is a risk he could not get an extension and leave.
It would be better than letting him walk for nothing.
I don’t think I want Kyle Lowry bro, I honestly don’t even think we need him. No disrespect to his greatness but I didn’t like his last playoff performance with the 76ers, also signing Lowry will take minutes away from Kolek who’s wayyyy younger and way more promising.

Bringing in Kessler makes the most sense.
Then follow up by adding Achuiwa as the PF (insurance as a C) and Lowry on the vet min to bridge the gap till Kolek
