Honestly, as much as I hate to say it, I would prefer the Knicks to trade Robinson, McBride, Achiuwa, Sims, Toppin and/or picks to try to bring a scoring center (I don't care if it's CAT) and another cheap one (e.g. Kassler) to be backup than to trade Randle. And regarding the injury problem, I think that all starters (specially Randle and Anunoby) should have their minutes greatly reduced throughout the regular season to minimize the chance of them being left out of the playoffs.

Like Julius or not, fact of the matter is he does things that no one else in the team can do should they trade him. And I don't think they will be getting someone who can play the way he does where he's good at. And that is the low-post game. In the era of 3-point shooters, Julius's game reminds us that the low-post game is still important, and in fact, would complement the outside game. He's enough of a threat at the post that he will give his defender serious problems or force a double on him, which would free up either the shooters or the center. Mikal, as good as he is, can't play the shaded area the way and with the power Julius does. OG, as good as he is, does a whole lot better(and will probably stay healthier) with someone who can attract the defense's attention away from him. Julius reminds me of LJ(Larry Johnson), but with more athleticism and longer shooting range. I agree with one of the comments here. Give this new line-up a year, see how the chemistry goes; give this new line-up a good chance and enough time to come together. Maybe this is now what Julius needs to be able play like the way he did in the 20-21 season; other guys who can seriously share the load and the pressure with him. I say, give Julius one more year. That 2020-2021 season Julius is still there; just needs help to bring it out again.
